Most of my scores are based on enjoyment alone, so there's that.
Also, Micasa > Mikasa. Do not question it. Just accept it.
50th completed Anime: Inuyasha - 6/10
I will be reviewing this score now that nostalgia goggles don't affect me.
100th completed Anime: Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - 8/10
Honestly a hilarious show, I won't lower its score.
150th completed Anime: Doukyuusei - 8/10
The first bl anime that proved my preconceptions about the genre wrong.
175th completed Anime: Re:Zero (Season 2) - 4/10
Generic isekai whose only real appeal to me was just how many times Subaru would keep dying. Death by bunnies is very creative to be fair.
200th completed Anime: Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation - 3/10
People told me this was the greatest isekai of all time, that the MC was realistic and that the fantasy world was to die for and that the MC got better and the side cast is great, and the setting and the themes, etc...
Well, the fantasy world is nice for sure. I like that most demons are more beast-like monsters and that the world as a whole feels grounded and believable with very different cultures and languages. It's a fucking shame that the MC and most of the sexual elements that are added to the story are either creepy, disgusting, weird or a mix of all of them. The way sexuality is explored in the story doesn't really add anything of substance to the story. If anything, those elements reinforce and validate Rudeus' atrocious behaviour. No, he does not get any better as a person. I fail to see how people relate and praise that paedophillic bastard for being "the best isekai protagonist of all time". No, he's not. Absolutely not. He did not change in the 12 episodes I've watched of this show and I got no patience left for his depravity.
