That's completely fine, Eva is one of those franchises which doesn't conform to conventional metrics. Hell, I gave Evangelion 3.0+1.0 a 10 despite its numerous and very obvious flaws. Ultimately, if it resonates with you, you are free to rate it however you like.

I liked the ideas behind it and the anti-otaku message Anno was trying to send out, it's just that the execution left a really sour taste in my mouth and could have been a lot better. Btw, none of my ratings are sarcastic (and I hope none of the reviews in my tags are either, but I'm not too sure about those).

also i realized i took grimmer off my fav list after i watched gintama and added a ton of characters from it to my favorite list lol, i originally just had gin and kagura like you. i gotta look at my list again and add grimmer back at some point, he had such a great character arc

No, don't watch SAC 2045 - it's not recommended at all. But definitely watch SAC 2nd GIG - it came out in 2004 and is an excellent sequel to the first season.
