there hasn't been an anime adaptation announcement for steel ball run yet, but i'm really hoping they'll make one soon. u should definitely give it a read whenever you have some free time. the story is absolutely worth it

I completely understand; choosing a favorite is indeed a personal choice. As for me, Steel Ball Run, Stardust Crusaders, and Golden Wind are my favorites, each for their own reasons. It's great that we can appreciate different parts of jojo

Oh, just realised that you mentioned "Monogatari" earlier. I misread it as "Mononoke".

Haven't watched that either though, and I've made a firm commitment to watch it this summer along with Gintama.

Ah, those are interesting choices, and definitely not all that mainstream either. I haven't watched the latter yet but I plan to do so soon before the new adaptation comes around.

Full-fledged anime series: Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven. It's got elements of everything you could ask for in a show - politics, religion, comradeship, villain organisation, space battles, post-apocalyptic setting, banger Op, ED and soundtracks, you name it.

Movie: Koe no Katachi. It captures various human emotions on such a deep and profound level.

Oh, that's interesting. I found Season 1 to be really good, especially the second half. After that, I found Diamond was Kudakenai better but the remaining parts were not as good. I've heard some really good things about Steel Ball Run though, maybe that'll change my impression of the series. Enjoy!
