well it used cliches to create a near satire with morales of the sterotypical magical girl anime. Its art direction is symbolic and fantastic with many Easter eggs, the sound is yuki so ya... its worst flaw is bad base personalities, but that's because the characters are bland and pure Morales and concepts. each girl represents a different concept and dies accordingly to said concept. It results in a narrative that is not only fun to watch an gripping, but also has deeper meaning that was is preach over and over again in the series... oh ya and allot of literary symbolism too..
