Thx for the add :) because of the fact that MAL now has a new way to calculate similar taste between users, the drop rate in the compatibility section (between my friends & I) was huge.
So I thought the chance to find like-minded people would be higher in the '1500 List Breakers Club' & that's when I came across some interesting profiles (yours was one of them).
I'm not all that chitty chatty, but sometimes I like random talks (when I'm off from work & I've got time to spare) & I always like random anime/manga recommendations.
Btw: You're really gonna stop watching after you reach 1000 anime? Because you're almost there, man...

I saw you trash talking one of the pics on CD 2.0 so I was going to have a go at you, then I saw that you actually have really good taste and that in all likelihood you actually do like to have good discussions.

Can you tell me what it is about Azumanga Daioh that's so good? Both you and another person I share taste with really rate it highly yet I've seen 5-6 episodes and nothing about it really impressed me that much - it felt like the gags were starting to repeat themselves. Does the writing become more fresh at some point during the season?

You don't like it? When I use it, I feel it is usually with a tinge of irony attached, especially when we're talking about Japanese cartoons. But even within this realm, people still seem to be hostile to change or experimentation.
