you wont be able to complete Tiger Mask unless you know japanese
If you're insinuating the english dub/sub is not complete, it matters not... i'm watching the italian dub <( ̄︶ ̄)>
Thank you for your message though, how are you?
i've been really busy and borderline stressed this month. medsurg is brutal, research thesis gives me third-degree migraine, and graveyard clinical hours rob me of sleep — the cherry on top is the fact it is currently my exam week too. still all manageable, of course, provided i collapse in frustration every now and then, kidding. i came here to unwind for a while and breathe life into my dead account, although i'll still be inactive 'til holidays anyway. haven't been drawn to anime lately, but i'm into books right now.
and yourself, how have you been?
Have you planned about what are you going to do in future?
Yeah, I have plans of pursuing my career in a commerce field. Most likely Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretary (CS) or Human Resource Manager (HR), etc.
Hope you're doing great now and will continue to do so.
Well, that is one of the most promising career in today's world. Good Luck with that! Best wishes.
Just one more year and I'll be in college as well. (HOPEFULLY)
You had your comments off for a while and I was wondering if DM would be appropriate lol.
Anyways, what're you planning on doing in college ? If you don't mind telling.
Yes, it's a prestigious title that shows you're competent and honorable in your study. There's 3 level of that which are cumlaude, magna cumlaude, and summa cumlaude. Summa cumlaude is basically almost impossible for me since it requires 3.91 GPA at least, so right now I'm working for magna.
>Are there opportunities for campus placements in your college?
Do you mean campus exchange? Well yes in 5th or 6th semester you have the opportunity to study abroad and gain double degree (optional) in other campus that has collaborated with my campus. Although I will be choosing internship to gain real work experience instead.
>I had problems with my studies and distractions. Chemistry was a very tough subject
I almost don't have any science related subjects at high school since I took the social branch (in my country it's called IPS while science branch is IPA). However at secondary school I do hate subjects like biology, physics, etc. I mean biology not really since I still remember some stuffs I've learn and sometimes there can be fun learning types of animal or organs in our body however physics is just a total lost for me. Literally don't remember a single thing from it, and my grade for it most of the time was bad anyway. Good thing I don't have to deal with it anymore.
>Have your favorites changed form before?
Not really I guess. Just not often to think about anime anymore.
I agree that FMA 2003 felt more darker thanks to it's comedy timing, colouring, and soundtracks. I'll give credit to 2003 for being written way before FMAB (manga) even reaches it half however in my opinion 2003 is still far more superior. Although conceptually is interesting as it attempt a deconstruction of it's system and had an Evangelion-typish message to the viewers, I still think FMAB themes such as value of life, human's nature and relationships, etc to be superior. Shown as how 2003 removes The Truth that took away "Man vs God" personal reflection. Not only that but 2003 doesn't have the poetic writing of FMAB (7 deadly sins of Father, gate of truth, detailed dynamic even to characters like Hohenheim and Wrath which never interact with each others). I don't like the isekai concept of 2003, could have used other ideas to present "entrophy" instead of this since it felt forced.
>And are you watching any good anime these days?
Hmmmm only Bungo Stray Dogs season 5 I guess.
>sorry for the late reply
No worries.
I'm doing very well in university. Currently I have 3.77 GPA out of 4.0 GPA scale and still eligible for cumlaude. This September will starts the 3rd semester. I've planned to graduate with more than 3.8 GPA and cumlaude so hopefully I'll keep doing good in next semesters.
>So presently I'm trying to get into learning programming and web development stuff. Although I'm very slow at that but I will get serious about that as soon as I joined
Good luck with that. One of my friends used to be taking Computer Science major and he said it was tough as hell.
>Does your branch/course require coding?
In my 2nd semester there is a subject called Statistics that requires coding in Microsoft Excel. I think this is the first video that I've searched in order to do some of my tasks :
I think some subjects in this 3rd semester will also requires programming.
>So I started the main series and it became one of my favorite anime
It seems that currently your favorites anime still remains quite the same since 2021 when I firstly encounter you. Do you still often thinking about them?
Nah that's fine. Even I reply pretty late these days, my social battery has been running low lately lmao.
You'll find something interesting to watch eventually I'm sure. Nowadays I'm really picky about the stuff I decide to watch since I don't have much free time. Tbh lately I find more comfortable with manga than anime.
But Im much lesser active here than before . Probably because I lost interest in the forums or I just got matured enough to waste time on them.
That's where I hope to be soon. I'd rather be not very active on mal than be chronically online. Baby steps though, baby steps.
I joined College a few days back but classes haven't started yet.
Nah, I'm not. If I was though I'd be in my third year which would wild. Maybe in some alternate universe lol. What's your major and all that jazz?
Yeah, we have the NRI batch here too but it costs more. Thankfully I got through the exam itself, otherwise I might have had to go through the NRI one.
Oh yeah, I'd be wary of the drugs, affairs, sex and whatnot first before ragging. Ngl, Banglore does have a negative reputation among parents here and that is with good reason, it's easy to go towards the wrong path. But if you are able to control yourselves, I think that place is gonna be really enjoyable.
Well, I didn't follow a single channel for learning code. It's all over the place, college notes, YouTube channels, websites, nothing was just completely adequate. I'd recommend you to check the syllabus and find out which languages you learn first. Start learning that and just stick to it, trying to learn other languages in the midst of learning one will only lead to confusions.
Yeah, we have to study C Programming in the first semester. I have an exam on it on next week lol. There's no computer subjects in the later semesters but we can do a minor on Computer Science if we want. Even then, our seniors and teachers do recommend us to learn coding through online cuz it's gonna be helpful in placements, future jobs etc.
Yeah, nowadays TV shows interest me more than anime. The current one I'm watching is The Last Kingdom which is about Saxons vs Danes in Britain. I've not watched Wednesday yet but my friends were talking about it so I'll try it out someday. I watched the first season of Peaky Blinders and it was pretty good, I should probably continue with it someday. You should probably watch Breaking Bad first cuz it's one hell of show, definitely deserves all the praise it gets.
I've been well for the most part, some days are worse than others but I'm starting to find my groove again. These days I read more manga than watching anime. Like for example last time we talked I was still on Dragon Ball I finished ages ago and even read DBZ too. It was a lot of fun, freeza's arc was the peak for me. Perfect Cell Saga onwards was where I felt a decline in the direction of the manga so I stopped reading after finishing DBZ. Been reading Psyren and Tokyo Revengers, also around chapter 450 of One Piece, getting back into Tokyo Ghoul Re too, just a whole bunch lol.
I cleared out my friends list when I took a few months off from MAL. (from March - June) I was in a dark place during that moment of time and socially isolated myself from everyone because of depression and regret it now with hindsight... Still don't fully comprehend how I plan to use MAL in the future since it's not healthy for me, it's really hard for me to talk about. ^^"
Didn't realize it was AI-enhanced, just mean you had it for a while lol.
Seems you've been watching a ton of anime, you're nearly at 1k that's incredible man! As someone who's been struggling to watch anime consistently do you have any advice on how to watch anime at a good pace?
