Heard some like to play fools of women convincing them their car is more broken than it is just to earn more money.
It still consumes a lot of money tho - gas, tires, insurance etc.
Thats true! Saving money is hard tho hahaha
EA acts like this stuff pack never came out as it's one of their biggest shames.
It really helps with managing traffic jams in your city as more lanes don't always equal fewer traffic jams. Cities Skylines AI can be really dumb sometimes xD
Have you been playing any other games recently?
There is a rat, a hamster, and some weird fictional animal available if I remember correctly.
I really appreciate people who are able to do such realistic cities.
You really should start following Biffa on YT. They make some amazing Cities i Cities Skylines and give useful tips on lane mathematics etc.
I'm currently learning how to properly use bus lanes in the game.
It's good to control your demand in the demand menu. Sometimes it's better to adjust your budget (higher or lower) instead of just buying more objects to satisfy your citizens. At least until you can afford to buy more stuff. Another good tip I got from YT is to always pause the time while you build roads etc. Roads cost money to maintain, but if you pause the time the fee will be counted from the moment you unpause the game. In result you save money.
Btw. "Romantic garden stuff pack" is also for free rn! It adds some nice garden decorations and the wishing well.
Nothing to make you say "wow, how cool" but free stuff is free stuff!
Oh, don't get me wrong. My cities are far from realistic hahaha
I'm no civil engineer but I'm trying my best. I also like to spend a lot of time placing decorative objects to make the cities more alive.
Two most important pieces of advice on playing a new map are:
- Don't rush things! Let the demand rise and slowly grow your city. If you try to spend too much money in the very beginning you will quickly lose it. Basically:start it small
- Control your power and water demand. If you produce too much water/power it will quickly eat your money. You need to adjust the budget according to your demand. If the demand gets bigger, don't buy another plant. Instead, raise the budget. It's cheaper to raise the budget than to maintain more plats!
Damn, so if the game goes on a -30% sale it basically goes back to it's original price?
Really? I actually have the opposite problem with Cities Skylines. I get rich quite easily so when my city reaches a certain point I have a problem with unlocking all the special buildings ^^" One of them requires you to get low on money or something and the other requires you to have a certain amount of abandoned buildings. I've never unlocked them...
30%? Daaaamn. Sounds bad >.<
No, I'm not planning to buy it in the near future but saw some people on yt play it. It looks cool.
I believe that I know what you're trying to say. There is a lot of stuff that I much prefer in Sims 4 (the graphics, stability, CAS, Build & buy mode - fuck the color wheel, just give me more color options, no Sim head in the speech UI, THE FUCKING MULTITASKING <3) but sometimes the gameplay in Sims 4 feels so empty. An that's the nail in the coffin for many players. The new DLCs also feel flat.
No, it doesn't look like there will be S5 any soon as in the same live stream they said that they will keep developing stuff for Sims 4 simultaneously with this new game that is nicknamed Project Rene.
