Yeah I hate the prices on anime, especially when it's like a DVD with 3 episodes at a time of a 13 episode series and each DVD is like $30. I only like buying seasons or whole shows at a time, I hate having like 6 DVDs for one series.

As for the movie "Straight Jacket", I've never seen it myself. Tell me how it is if you buy it though..=)

I'd say no stream triumphs a good DVD on the TV. I don't think you should buy every anime you want to watch, but I'd buy the anime that you are really interested in watching and have a lot of re-watch value. That's why I bought all Dragon Ball (reg. Z GT and a few of the movies.) I really liked the show, thought it had good re-watch value so I burned a good portion of my money to get it.

Buying anime can be expensive, you just have to figure out what you find is worth buying.

Well I'll buy it in a store if it catches me eye while paroosing through anime in a store(although it feels awkward being that anime is always placed strategically placed right next to the porn.) The store is also good if you're in a 'rush' to watch something.

Buying on line is a hell of a lot cheaper, kinda easier to find stuff, but there is always the wait on delivery.

I bought all the Dragonball, Dragonball Z and GT, just love it too much not to own it..=P
Other then that I got FMA Conqueror of Shambala(just because I couldn't find a good stream.) So I guess I don't "usually" buy anime, but if it's good enough why not I guess.

I watched up to season 6 in Dragonball Z and I didn't have any seasons past that. So I decided why not watch GT until I get to buying them, confused me a bit in the beginning. So now I have the rest of Dragonball Z, which I'm watching now, and I have yet to watch Dragonball, but I own it.

Maybe I'll rewatch the whole series in correct order one day when I'm done watching it in my fucked up way.
