My anime watching has gone down a bit as well, but i will say that every season there's at least one show that usually hooks me, so try to look for the best shows for each season if you can't follow the season. Last season for example i'll recommend Odd Taxi and Shadows House.

Been a while since i read it so can't remember too much lol. I loved Emiru from start to finish though and i remember wanting the MC to die throughout.
