how have you been?
EmilioX Dec 28, 2022 4:47 PM
I hope you had a great Christmas! Also a happy new year and best wishes in advance!

Yupp, what did you think of the WC?

Yeah they are doing very great! hope they can keep up. I'm pretty sad PSV sold Gakpo to Liverpool. It's nice that we broke a transfer record, but I have very mixed feeling. First we are fully in the title race and sold our best player that carried us. Also with Man United paying 100 million for Antony, I feel like we should at least have gotting 60/70 mil for him, especially during the winter. Then in summer 50/60 was fine.

That is really great to hear! congrats! Very happy to hear you are fairing well!

Good and good, just a busy with work and other stuff in life. But I'm returned strong then ever. XD

That is very great that you had a fantastic year! I hope the rest off the year treats you the same.
Same here slowly started watching anime again.

Ohh that is nice! UK is a pretty country. I thing you gonna have a nice time there. I've been there like 2 times I believe. once In London and once somewhere around the border with Scotland. London is very pretty and there is a lot to do.

Arsenal is doing great hope they can keep up form and win the PL. I have to admit I was very happy with the match last Tuesday between PSV and Arsenal. I think we played our best game off the season so far. If PSV always had this form they would win the Eredivisie for sure, but we have been so unstable so far. The same week we lose to one off the bottom teams in the league and then we win from the number 1 off the premier league (I know it wasn't their full A squad but still). Anyway I think we both can be happy with the EL group phase. Arsenal will top the group and have 2 games less to play and PSV will be second which every fan already calculated when the groups where drawn.

I have mixed feeling for the world cup. Everything feels a bit weird. First you have the country that organize it not being the well cleanest. The timing off the WC is also weird. Well all those things aside I feel like with our selection we should always aim for topping the group. Afterwards I feel like things can go all sort off ways. I think our National team definitely doesn't have the quality off players like France, Brazil and Germany. Then again I think we can surprise against those countries. This WC can go both ways I feel like, I would be surprised to see us going far, but then again I can also see it becoming a deception for us. ^^'

Sorry, I just kinda became a ghost for 9 months 👻. I am and have been doing very well, just had some other things on my mind that kept me busy. I haven't even watched any anime this year, so weird. I don't even miss it that much, but think back at the fun and good moments I had watching anime I wanna get back into it.

I'm very happy to hear you got a dreamjob. I hope it still is that way?

On another note we are rivals next Thursday when our teams have to play each other. ^^
No gonna lie if PSV plays the way they did the last few match I have Arsenal will spare us. Your team really looks quite spicy this year, really think and hope they will do great! Well except when they face against PSV :p

Anyway how have you been lately? I'm gonna become more active again on MAL and hope you'll give me a new chance to chat again. Hope to hear from you.

Hello, so sorry for not responding sooner, I was very busy with graduation and my new job that came after that.

I hope you are doing great? ^^

I seen Arsenal doing okay it seems like they slowly are getting better even though they still have a little way to go. How are the new players doing? :o
EmilioX Mar 24, 2021 2:31 AM
Sorry for not responding for a while, I've been very busy with my graduation internship and other stuff, all good stuff. ^^

Unfortunately PSV is doing very bad... They haven't won a top match against (Ajax, Feyenoord or AZ) for so long... I must admit I'm kinda done with Schmidt, he keeps making the same mistakes... Also the referees and VAR helped Ajax 2 times, once in the cup when they defeated PSV, but had to get 2 red cards mid game, everyone agreed expect the ref, and later for the league, they also had to have a red card, but again everyone but the ref and Var thought that way. Well in the end Ajax is just better this season. :(
Gotze is a bit fragile and he's been hit and miss so far. Sometimes you can see his class, but sometimes he just doesn't really get things done.
Gakpo was injured this year until last two matches, his form was great before and I think if he wasn't injured PSV might have done better in EL and League. Last two matches he was terrible, but I don't blame him he has to regain form.

I saw that Arsenal is doing well lately, I haven't seen matches, but heard Odegaard has been really good so far. I think it would be a really good signing if Arsenal can sign him for real. I think if they get him and a solid defender, they can aim for the top of the league again.

Well unfortunately Atletico isn't doing that great lately and Barca is catching up. I don't really mind, cause I don't like both teams so for me it doesn't really matter who wins.

I think the EL is the only chance for Arsenal to get into the CL. I hope they win it, but I think the future is looking good with all those youngsters. Hope they will become world class. ^^

Haha nice, might need to look into it.
EmilioX Jan 18, 2021 5:38 AM
PSV is having a bad record lately against other top teams in the league. Let's hope they can defeat Feyenoord, otherwise I fear the title is far away. Vitesse is doing good and they can be seen as a outsider for the title, but I doubt the can keep this form the whole season, but who knows they might surprise us. Everything is better then Ajax winning the league. :P

Finally, talk about a bad mariage during the last seasons. Yeah having good youngsters is nice, but you can't expect them to carry the team every match. PSV had the same problem last year, to much young talents, not enough players that where consistent enough.

Well no to be rude, but I doubt players that are in great form at teams like Dortmund are keen to join Arsenal atm. Maybe because the competition is better, but Dortmund is on track for CL and Arsenal not, I really hope that changes though!

Nice, I plan to watch both, happy to hear they are both great so far!

hi! i've been doing good c:
my holidays went well. just been relaxing during my break and doing stuff to kill time. hope your holidays were great !!
i started horimiya, which is a new anime that came out. are you watching it?
other than i'm just watching and reading the same stuff, just slowly LOL. what about yourself?
EmilioX Jan 11, 2021 2:15 AM
I was looking forward to it as well, shame Gotze wasn't ready to play. I have mixed feeling about the result. If you lead 2-0 you have to win the match, but in the end Ajax deserved the win more, because PSV played terrible and cowardly after the 2-0... Shame this was a good chance to take the lead in the league. Happy to hear you have more confidence then I do, I fear Ajax is gonna win the title, PSV still isn't ready to play the tactics the coach wants and they can't control a game long enough.

It's good to see Arsenal is finally winning some matches again. I really wonder if they are able to make some signings. I heard Ozil might leave with some kind off construction where his salary is gonna be spread out more, to give Arsenal some air in the salary department. Yeah Chelsea is also doing very bad with all the players they bought.

I see, I don't know much about Buendia except from Fifa, but Brandt was always a good player at Leverkussen and Dortmund, wonder wat happend to him, that he isn't playing anymore and lost form.

Yeah well it's nice to have such a thing together of course. ^^

Nah will binge it when it's fully released, same with AoT.
EmilioX Dec 28, 2020 3:29 AM
Thanks!

Nice to hear. We usually visit family as well, but this year only celebrated it with my close family. It was still very nice, had fun and ate good food, what else can you wish for. ^^

Well it didn't surprise me unfortunate. They have trouble playing that great for 90 minutes and it's not the first time they break-down during the second half. I think if the stamina off the players is increasing and they can play like that for 90 minutes they can win the league, otherwise they are gonna lose to many points and I think Ajax will win. After the winterbreak a very important month is coming, PSV will face Ajax, AZ and Feyenoord, so they have to prove that they are worthy of the title then. I have faith the can though. Gotze is very good and he is still no at 100% off his form. Ihattaren also improved form, it looks like he saw the light and is showing his talents again.

I read about the victory off Arsenal on Chelsea, very happy for you, let's hope they get some confidence and start winning more. Exactly you can't win or lose forever. Sometimes it's a good idea to give some fresh new players time for good balance. Look at Barcelona they also fell because they kept using the same players again and at some point that just doesn't work anymore.

What positions does Arsenal need new players? I think a good CD probably? I also heard they showed intrest in Brand for Dortmund, he might be a good player for Arsenal indeed.

I see sounds good, will keep it in mind ^^
It's nice to watch together, but why can't she watch alone?

No problem, I hope things will work out for you!

Same to you, let's indeed hope 2021 will be good to us. ^^
EmilioX Dec 24, 2020 4:18 PM

I'm doing good, hope you are doing good as well?

Same here, but the timing is also a bit bad, especially with Covid and such. A lot off players have played so many matches lately, I think a lot off players are very glad with the winter break, well over here, not sure how long the Premier league will still go on. Yeah the EL is getting stronger each year as well. I think we stand a good chance against Olympiacos, it's gonna be a good opponent to test where PSV stands atm. Benfica is gonna be a tough opponent, hope Arsenal will have found their form and win.

Yeah I saw, they are at a very bad position on the table, I always think off you when I see Arsenal, so I feel sad for you they are doing so badly lately. I'm beginning to doubt if Arteta is the right manager for Arsenal. Then again maybe Arsenal just doesn't have to players to find connection with the top of the league atm. It's a shame when players become aggressive when things are going well, you see it happen more often, but it doesn't help the team.

Good, PSV is still active on all fronts and only 1 point behind Ajax so I would say a very solid first half off the season. We still have to improve our game for sure though. PSV can dominate almost all opponents in the league, but after like 1 half it seems that their energy is depleted and the match changes. Like against Heerenveen a pretty good team for the Dutch league, we had like 80% ball possession in the first half and then in the second half got lucky to even got a draw.

Do you think Arsenal is gonna try to buy new players during the winter?

Smart. I'm gonna watch Neverland season 2 for sure, well binge watch it as soon as it's fully released. I haven't seen Dr. Stone is it worth watching? :o
EmilioX Nov 23, 2020 11:30 AM
It's gonna be interesting indeed, even though the Netherlands isn't among those teams, I definitely plan to watch those matches. I'm very curious about Spain after they destroyed Germany, was it just a one time thing or are they really that good again. Italy played really well and far less defensive as they are known for, especially the match here in Holland they dominated us. And France and Belgium are always doing well last years. I think the problem with Germany is the tactic, they really have a talented team, Low is just dumb not using Muller who is in the best form off his life and Hummers who is a lot better then the current CD they have. I think it's best to thank Low for all his years of greatness because a fresh wind is needed I think. Indeed I think we have a good squad to really challange every team in Europe during the EC.

Indeed he would have definitely become a part off the first eleven, but that is history, I really hope Ihatarren can become as good as him or even better.

Yeah it seems like Arsenal is struggling to find a consistent form, against leeds pepe did a very dumb thing, I haven't seen the game, but do you think you would have won without that red card? I wonder if the midfielders of Arsenal are good enough, I think Thomas is good, but how about the others?

Damn that is hard, hope things good better for you soon!
Over here things are pretty much the same as before, I can go to school one day each week and the rest is at home.
EmilioX Nov 16, 2020 7:01 AM
Of course, I watch almost all matches off the national team, I'm not the biggest fan of van de Beek though. He isn't bad, but I feel like he just lacks what it takes to become a world class player. He kinda lifted along the succes off Ajax back then. I think the midfield we had yesterday with Klaassen, de Jong and Wijnaldum is better. Besides van de Beek only works when you play him as a deep playmaker that can run into the sixteen very often, but we have Wijnaldum for that and Klaasen and de Jong are playing a bit less deep. Yupp well I don't mind, they bought so many dumb players, every manager bought players that where bad.

Poland isn't gonna win it though, Italia probably will and they deserve it. It doesn't matter, I mean it's good if we do well in the Nations League, but it's far more important that we find form for the upcoming Euros. I really hope van Dijk is back then. I think if we play with Cillessen, Dumfries, de Ligt/de Vrij, van Dijk, Wijndal, Klaassen/Koopmeiners, Frenkie de Jong, Wijnaldum, Berghuis/Malen/Stengs, Depay, Luuk de Jong/Depay/Malen. We have a pretty solid team, a very good defense, good midfield only the attack is a bit lacking, but if we don't conclude goals, I think we can definitely score at least 1 goals against every opponent.

Yeah well in the end he made a decision and that's fine, if he really wanted to become a part of the dutch squad he would have trusted in his abilities and wait for his chance, but he didn't and that's fine, it's his own choice after all. I do agree that it wasn't a bad idea back then to give him a chance though, but Danny Blind was just a terrible choice as coach... We didn't play that well actually, we had a bit off luck and in the end we didn't deserve to win, even though you wouldn't have heard me complain if we did. :P
Well those where some bad years, so most matches left me frustrated and hoping for better times soon.

Thanks, and no the keeps almost the same squad and the best players stayed, but it seems it was more off a one season wonder.

I saw, well Aston Villa is apparently pretty well at beating great teams, like they also slaughtered Liverpool. It's a shame I think Auba should always be the striker, I started with a Arsenal Career mode in Fifa and first thing I did was indeed place Auba as striker with Laca as back-up. Are your defenders good? Like who is Arteta playing? In Fifa all defenders off Arsenal are kinda bad except Bellerin and Tierney.
EmilioX Nov 7, 2020 3:38 PM
I see your story makes a lot of sense, I think your are definitely right about that unconscious bias. Shame...

Yeah well the morale still isn't that high, we won our last two matches before PAOK, but before that we lost twice in a row. The team is really unstable and only has a few moments where they have some good attacks with good passing. Schmid want's to play with full-pressure the whole match, but I haven't seen any off it so far.
Yeah I heard well AC Milan is kinda a team building as well, so it's not weird they might be a bit unstable atm. I hope they keep doing good, would be nice to see something else then Juve winning the Italian League.

I think Arsenal is good enough to at least offer some resistance against Bayern, but the chances of them winning over 2 matches is probally 1/10 or something. Bayern is just a beast atm.

Man U is just unstable as well, they really have a bad defense, bought a totally unnecessary player that doesn't fit at all with van de Beek, They have Bruno and Pogba for that position. They where better off buying a good defender. I'm not sure Ole is the right manager for Man U, then again who is, all the trainers after Ferguson didn't do well. Ferguson is also to blame for that, since he basically left a trash team behind.
