So I guess you're saying that some of the abducted people (from Japan to NK) are NK citizens and some are Japanese citizens. But how do they get away with abducting the Japanese citizens? Doesn't the Japanese government attempt to intervene? (Or even other governments, for that matter.) I don't get how NK can get away with so much. This is only the tip of the iceberg of what they've done, of course. I think it's only a matter of time before they're invaded by somebody...though this could incite international conflicts, what with China and Russia technically being NK's allies.

When you said "frequent DPRK abductions" were you referring to North Korean citizens in Japan who were taken back to NK? (I'm assuming NK doesn't just randomly kidnap Japanese citizens.)
