Hm, ok. But you still didn't answer the question I was asking of what exactly you were trying to be careful of? Because our conversation was: "I wouldn't recommend this show for you, but I'd watch it"

What I'm actually trying to understand was if there was a failing on my part that came across as too pushy or said anything that set off alarm bells for you.

Careful like how? I mean you ever feel unsafe or pressured you can feel free to block me, but like from the beginning I was saying like "yeah, you stay away from this". What alarms did I put up? Just reading things that alarm you?

I mean, I did. As far as I could tell our conversation was just about finished, unless there was something left unclear. Maybe you just worded your reaction weird? Because answering someone sharing their perspective with "I'll pass on that one" just sounded like "no thanks, I don't want to listen to you". And I mean, I was done and communicated what I wanted to, but yeah it just kinda came out that way honestly

Oh, I thought you just meant passing on watching the show, which you already made clear. So, you just pass on hearing other's perspectives? Hm, k... granted, I do think I've made myself clear by now, but coming across a little cold? I would want people to explain their perspectives on things I don't get, at least.

Yeah, I wasn't even offering it. Like I said, I really wouldn't recommend it to you in the least. But if you make your case with "I don't see the point in" or "I don't see why", then I don't mind telling you why is the thing.

Why bother watching something so dark? Because it's interesting, entertaining. Can get an emotional reaction out of me sometimes. Sometimes relatable too, though I wouldn't relate to anyone in this show in particular, though I imagine any number of victims would have also had hearts crying out for revenge in some ways like this too.

Nah, I never expect anyone to be like me off the bat. But if you're not seeing the point or my perspective, then I'm happy to share it, no matter your background.

Hey, I'm not trying to convince you. Only that you said that you didn't see a point to those kinds of plots outside of money, and I was just pointing out that the merit is out there. That doesn't mean that it's for you though, and again as a minor (and one with apparent mental issues) I would never recommend it to you in the first place.

I honestly wouldn't give a shit if others thought less of me for it, though. I would explain my piece, and if I'm lesser in their eyes for it, I say so fucking be it, yknow? Lost plenty of friends over political shit before, and TV is the pettiest thing to be big-mad over, honestly.

I don't think I agree with the idea that anyone is majority influenced by the media they consume if they are ok mentally already. Part of watching media responsibly is just realizing the difference between reality and fiction and keeping it separate at all times.

That being said, I can definitely tell you what the appeal to me is. Just like with Death Note the concept of a cat-and-mouse chase between geniuses is the hook, the hook for Redo of a Healer is knowing that all of these people are terrible people and seeing a monster take revenge on other monsters, to see how deep a character will sink for revenge. It's not for the weak of heart, but it DOES have its appeal outside of kinks, despite what the very vocal critics may say.

I kind of what to mention that for someone going in knowing it's a dark fantasy and that all the characters are monsters, it's an interesting watch so far and I don't regret it. BUT I still didn't want that shit on my conscience so happy to hear you're not interested.

Yeah - I don't mind it because I'm an adult, those things don't really get to me, and I'm someone intrigued by monstrous figures - it's a show with no good people in it. I just didn't want to responsible for a minor watching it.

Ok cool, but I'm not saying that lightly either. I wouldn't recommend Redo of a Healer for any minor honestly, especially not uncensored. It's basically a show about revenge-rape. Very graphic depictions. I really just want to put emphasis on So I'm a Spider, So What? for you, honestly.
