I was born in Japan, and anime has always been my thing, especially during my final year of university. I love watching exciting shows each season and discussing them on forums.
My anime journey started with Pokemon, but I don't really count it as my first anime since I lost track of how many episodes I watched. Naruto holds a special place in my heart; it's practically part of who I am. I followed Naruto religiously on Toonami when I lived in the US and continued watching it in Japan for a decade.
After taking a break, I got back into anime when Naruto appeared in Fortnite. I'm an avid Fortnite player, so I decided to rewatch Naruto, which reignited my passion for anime. That's when I joined MAL to keep track of all the anime I was watching.

sorry for the late one! but yeah it never really made much sense till the end. also considering the fact that the show was made in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of studio bones, it didn't look very amazing visually lmao. i would expect something on mob psycho level, so yeah don't worry, you're not missing out on anything big by dropping it haha
Lol i get it. A person's First anime regardless of how good or bad it really was is usually seen as a 10/10 either way. Like my first anime was fruits basket (the original one) which looking back wasn't that good of an adaptation but it's still my favorite either way~
As for Naruto I have more love/appreciation for the characters than the story and while Shippuden put most of the secondary characters on a back burner I still like them. Hinata actually was my favorite character. Because I felt like she had potential to be an actual character heck almost every character had potential for a better storyline but oh well I guess...
