Not exactly dude. I mean, Clannad was adapted by KyotoAnimation, while Little Busters! is adapted by the (worst) J.C Staff studio. Which it's well-knowed because...well, because his adaptations are pure shit.
I enjoyed much Air because it was mystical but it's a love-or-hate show haha.
And i don't know how it will be adapted but trust me that Refrain it's to Little Busters! like "After Story" to "Clannad".
And hey, don't get me wrong, I loved Clannad too, I even played the Visual Novel so of course i liked it XD It's just that I enjoyed (and cried, why am i going to deny it xD) more "Little Busters!" than "Clannad".
I would recommend you HIGHLY to read Little Busters, yeah, I know that as you said you had never really planned to do it but hey, it's a good chance to start right? haha
And if Refrain it's well-adapted yes, you will have a lot to look forward :)
Umm, why do you not play the Visual Novel? I mean, the adaptation it's a crap but the Visual Novel is just amazing (if you check my "favorite characters" you will find that 3 are from Little Busters!). I'm just a random-passerby haha But seriously, if you like to read you should read the Visual Novel (it's in english, you can find it in fuwanovel without problems). I loved (and love) Clannad (both anime and Visual Novel) as well as Air (anime in this case haha) but for me Little Busters! (to be more especific, Refrain) it's fairly superior to both Clannad: After Story and Air TV combined.
Well, just to recommend you because I saw that you love Key works, as I said I'm just a random passer-by so don't take me too seriously haha
Interesting with share a "Very High" anime compatibility xD anyway nice review for Little Busters, guess is not as Key as I thought if second season is good may give it a chance too.
Noticed you liked The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, you should try the movie, the best of it.
I could care less about what people write in their reviews. As long as they aren't doing something immature like intentionally spoiling things for others. I was just giving you a heads up. People on this site are very sensitive and immature so they whine about every little thing that displeases them. And btw, I'm not a hater. I'm actually really enjoying it but its too soon to tell ^^
Regarding my SNK review: Yes it is only on episode 4, so I apologize. I should have made it a manga review instead of an anime review. I'm new to this so I didn't know. I am up to date with the manga and it's great.
