For me that seems like such a waste of time, because I can enjoy series better when binging them.
I think the last series I watched kinda weekly was AoT season 2.
But yeah, I mostly wait until everything is finished airing and then I will binge them all.
Yeah, maybe I will like MHA more.
Monogatari series surely requires a lot of attention. But I also can't finish the whole thing in one go. It is very dialogue heavy and I was exhausted after 50 episodes.
It surely is worth the journey.

And I usually stay away from them until they are fully released.
Also still have not watched MHA past season 1.
Just finished half-way through the Monogatari series with Tsukimonogatari. I am exhausted after that one... so much dialogue.
I am just chilling for now until I will watch Gintama° for my 1000th anime. (finally)
I am just a huge sucker for battle-shounen. So I have the big ones, DBS, Naruto and One Piece really highly rated.
There is just nothing like it, even if they have some flaws throughout the story... I still watched over hundreds of episodes of it and sometimes even multiple times.
For me it was just that I finally found my rating system last year or so and I am applying that to the new shows I watch.
And if I might re-watch a show I might use my current rating system and maybe adapt the score. But its rare that I re-watch something and give it a lower score.

I am glad to recommend Magi ^^
But as you watched more anime you realized some of the flaws of the show... makes sense.
I have also become more critical as I grew older but I would probably not re-rate a show like Dragon Ball if I were to find flaws with it now.
I would just accept that I have different views now but when I watched it, it deserved the score I gave it. (if that makes sense lol)
My top 10 favorites on mal are 5 of the best shows I know and then I put my favorite shows of the past years in it aswell.
