Yeah I am pretty familiar with almost all of them but I just have so many anime I want to watch that I have honestly have put most of these to the side lol. I have watched the first season of Tokyo Ghoul and I didn't like it much at first but it was pretty good towards the end when the story started to speed up, but I have seen really bad reviews for the second season, so I was planning on reading the manga, instead of watching the anime because I heard the manga was a lot better. Also, I am not saying that Blue Exorcist was boring or bad at all like the animation was well done and the premise of the show was interesting, but I mostly judge anime based on how much I like the main characters and the story, in which I wasn't a huge fan of rin and from what I can remember I thought almost every episode except for the last few just felt like filler episodes. I also think I was probably biased when I watched it because I was burnt out from watching too much shounen because when I watched Blue Exorcist over winter break, I was also binge watching Black Clover and Jujutsu Kaisen to catch up, rewatching Aot to remember what happened in the previous seasons (bc I have a really shitty memory lmao), and watching Fire Force lmfao.

Even though you didn't ask, here are some recommendations of some anime I think you might enjoy:
-Acca 13: It is more politically focused show that is calming and refreshing to watch when you are tired of watching anime (that's how I found it lol) because it has a different feel to it than most anime. The animation feels very elegant and classy, the characters aren't my favorite but both the female and male characters are very appealing to the eyes, and the opening is so catchy. The plot follows an inspector who travels around to different states containing various cultures and practices and it mostly focuses about the corruption in the states and a power struggle between the various leaders.

-Ascendance of a Bookworm: It is an isekai about a librarian who is extremely passionate for reading who reincarnates as a young, sickly girl from a poor family into a fantasy/medieval-ish world where books are very expensive, hard to come across, and most of the population is illiterate. The plot mostly follows Myne as she is determined to make paper and books from scratch and make them more accessible to the public and poor, while also ending up being dragged into many other societal issues. There is also magic, economics, and political themes sort of incorporated in it, but not a lot. It slow paced overall and for the first couple episodes it is extremely slow because it just introduces you to the world and various characters and I would give it time for the plot to speed up, but if you want to drop it, it is completely understandable. I found it super cute, relaxing, and interesting to watch as Myne experiments with various resources to make paper. I really enjoyed it a lot and I would definitely give it a shot.

-Tiger & Bunny: A superhero anime set in the future following a middle aged super hero who struggles being outshined by the younger generation of heroes. The premise of the show is really interesting and unique because the super hero's fights with criminals are broadcasted live on TV and their livelihoods are determined how many points they receive by defeating a villain. For example, if a hero incapacitates a criminal they receive points, but if they destroy buildings while fighting or civilians get injured, they get points deducted from their overall score. Depending on how many points the heroes earns, the more they are sponsored by private companies and the more money they get. The main character is honestly great from the get go because he is just a great guy and experiences realistic problems like aging, depression, money, and familial tension and I really got attached to him the more I watched the show. The super powers in this show are nothing special the main character is not op or the strongest amongst the other superheroes by any extent, but he varies from the other heroes because he has a strong sense of justice and doesn't work in the industry for the fame and wealth, but because he genuinely cares about the well being of the city. The plot is pretty predictable in which there's bad guys and the heroes stop them, but there are many twists and turns and the plot gets much deeper and darker the more you watch. Also, all the other characters are really well developed and we learn about their various backstories and reasons for becoming super heroes. I did not really expect to really enjoy this show because I have never been a big fan of superheroes, but I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was great.

I am pretty familiar with all the anime you've recommended except twinstar exorcist, but I haven't watched any of them yet. I have yet to really explore into shounen romance/slice of life genre because I just was never interested in it in the past (like 3 years ago), but I've heard good reviews and definitely try out the ones you recommended. I have watched the first season of Blue exorcist and like the first two episodes of the second season and honestly just thought it was average compared to other shounen like aot and hxh but idk that's just my personal opinion.

As for anime:
1. Gurren lagann
2. monogatari series
3. Oregairu
4. March comes in like a lion
5. A place further than the universe
2 to 5 can move up and down depending on when I rewatch them
I usually enjoy slice of life anime
I read Light novels more than manga but I still enjoy some mangas
for ln:
1. Mushoku tensei
2. The beginning after the end
3. 86
4. Journey of elaina
5. Reincarnated as a slime/ solo leveling
for ln I really like reading fantasy or issekai
for manga:
1. love is war
2. 3 days of happiness
3. bloom into you
4. spy x family
5. seraph of the end/ AOT
I Usually prefer reading romance manga but from time to time action shounen like AOT catches my eye

yea for sure! so most of the manga i have already read is shoujo bc i read a lot of these when I was younger, but i do have some that I think you would like. After looking at your list, I would def recommend Azumi (historical manga about a female assassin. theres a lot of violence and nudity but its still hella good), Song of the long march (historical manhua about ex-noble girl who family was killed and about her path to revenge), Ran to Haiiro no Sekai, Tongari Boushi no Atelier (cute story, interesting plot and world, and just beautiful), Oresama Teacher (comedy manga about ex-delinqent school girl who tries to hide her past after transferring to a new school), Meteor Methuselah (about young bounty hunter and an immortal), Koroshi Ai (about psychopath and bounty hunter and it's getting an anime adaptation sometime this year or next year im not sure), Kobato, Inu x Boku SS, Emma (these three of these have an anime if you would rather watch them but they are really good), and if you want to try read shoujo my favorite shoujo manga is Glass no Kamen (it is about a school girl who is extremely passionate about acting and it is really well written and just amazing. it has two anime adaptions a 1984 version and a 2005 version but i personally liked the 2005 version more because it follows the manga very well). Sorry for writing so much hahah. I was wondering if you can give me some anime recommendations also like just some of your favorites :D
