(● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭⁾⁾ Hi! I'm Frying Pan, or Pannie for short.
I'm trying to review every anime, light novel, manga, manwha, etc. that I come across.
I think it’s fun analyzing the plot and animation of my favorite shows critically. Although my average is considerably low compared to others, I tend to rate based on the character development and overall interest I had in the series throughout.
I cannot say I'll be writing my reviews "objectively", but will instead say that I write based on my thought-out opinions on the show/manga in question.
It will be almost impossible for anything to get a straight 10/10 from me unless it achieves full marks in every aforementioned aspect. If I review something 7.8, I will round it to an 8. That is the type of rating style I will be using! I hope that makes sense.
With that, let’s get into it!~ シ
10 ❁: Amazing, beautiful. One of my favorites and a Pannie-certified classic.
09 ❁: I love this! Although nearly perfect! One of my favorites and a masterpiece.
08 ❁: Very enjoyable; I enjoyed it a lot—something I would recommend to my friend.
07 ❁: Have some spare time? This is a good one to watch/read!
06 ❁: Although it has some minor issues, this is still very good. If you are someone interested in the genre, you'll definitely like this.
05 ❁: Average. If you like the genre, you'd probably like this. It's decent.
04 ❁. Below average, although it can still be enjoyable. Either it doesn't take itself too seriously, or there is still enough substance to make it bearable. It's the definition of subpar.
03 ❁. Bad but enjoyable in some way. I wouldn't recommend though.
02 ❁. No plot, no story. It has its moments, but there are few. Tolerable.
01 ❁. All the stuff of 2, but even worse. No plot, no story, not enjoyable and intolerable. Definitely would not recommend it to even my worst enemies. I'm ashamed to have even set my eyes on it unironically.
NOTE: I will never rate a show I watched less than half of. If it's 12 episodes, I will only review after 6. If it's 24, I'll only review after 12. The only exception to this is when I feel particularly strongly about it. This can be a good or bad thing.
NOTE II: Anything in my completed list without a score is something I watched before I made my MLA account. I will try and exclude those types of shows. However, they are also good bookmarkers for me. I'd like to be consistent, watch new shows I can easily review, and give my most accurate and raw opinions.
I’m constantly looking for new shows to watch and mangas to read. ╰(*´︶`*)╯
Listened to everlasting guilty crown but never watched guilty crown interesting. Well defently watch it the sound track is absolutely amazing really gives the anime a kick
Ouch, that Argento Soma review hurts! But I respect the score. You can rate it whatever you think it deserves. I watched it recently and gave it a 7/10. I thought it was pretty interesting and enjoyable, if a bit slow. But I like reading reviews that have completely different opinions from my own, so it was an enjoyable read even if we disagree on many things.
