I usually always root for the smaller city since I hate every California and New York team since they rely more on money to sign the best players instead of a team developed through years of hard work.
I personally love Manu since his playstyle is superfun to watch and I love watching him dominate the "better" players. I was way to young to watch his Olympic games, but I still go back 2004 Athens game to see him humiliate the all-star US team.
btw, Manu is my favorite player. Absolute maniac in his prime
I personally stopped watching Spurs games rn since none of the players are interesting
