Oh, I see. Yep, I quite like Steam. Constantly great deals on games, and even the selection on Linux is not too shabby. Though it's easy to end up buying way more than you ever have time to play. xD Yeah, fighting games can be a lot of fun in multiplayer regardless og skill level. :3 I really should find more good multiplayer console games to play. Any suggestions for other ones you like playing with friends?
encephalic Jan 5, 2017 4:39 AM
I can't really brag about being very good at them, no. XD When it's multiplayer, I tend to do much better in Wipeout or Worms. Do you by any chance use Steam? :)

Oooh I see. Been meaning to try Jak & Daxter someday. Looks like a fun platformer. Honestly haven't played platformers much in forever, but used to enjoy them a lot as a kid. Tried DMC with a friend sometimes, and it was pretty fun! :3 As for Dead or Alive 2, are you good at fighting games? Perhaps you play them with your friends and beat them up? xD

Interesting! What kinds of old games? :3

The Last of Us seems to be another one of those big games I need to try one of these days. I actually picked up Dead Space 1 and 2 from Steam on a sale a short while ago. Played them with a friend for a while, but he managed to lose the saves or got rid of the console we were playing it on or something so I never beat them... xD But planning to finally get around to that soon! The one that started this survival horror addiction was Outlast, I think. Also tried Amnesia, but weren't too pleased with that one. But recently played SOMA and Alien: Isolation, and those two were quite magnificent, in my humble opinion. Do you play any games recently? :3

I'm not too shabby. How are you? I see, so neither of us have been watching much. I've hardly watched anime at all since I wrote you that comment in November. Heard that Re:Zero is supposed to be good, but I'll probably wait until it finishes airing, since I heard there's a lot of cliffhangers. Kill la Kill is another one of the big series that I should give a shot someday. Been in a fairly long non-anime phase, and when I wasn't busy with other things, I've tended towards games instead. Gotten addicted to survival horror games. Tried any of those? :3

Pardon the really late reply (over a year). Yes, Worms Revolution is pretty nice. You have water in the levels there, which adds an interesting dynamic to the game. Enjoying any recent series?
encephalic Oct 12, 2014 10:40 AM
Nice! Oh, you like Worms too? Excellent! Yes, it's especially fun playing it in the same room with other people I think. Have you played Worms Revolution? :) And I'm quite liking Aldnoah.Zero! I'm not a huge fan of mecha series, but this one is quite nice. Interesting story and characters, and nice art. Not sure what else to say about it quite yet. How did you like Zankyou no Terror? Been in Scotland for long? :3

I see. The first few months at uni can be quite chaotic, I'd think? Enjoying it? :) Never really played MMOs much myself, as it didn't really look like something I'd enjoy very much. I like mostly JRPGs, but I can also like racing, and some different ones like Worms and Catherine. For racing, I really like the Wipeout games, and I used to enjoy Gran Turismo (not played that in ages). Played any of those?

Oh, that's cool! The Canary Islands sounds nice as well! How long have you been studying it? What games do you like? :)

Wow, 28... That's certainly impressive! You must host one heck of a tea party! :)

Have you travelled much? One of these days, I really want to visit Japan (a cliché around these parts, I know)
encephalic Aug 31, 2014 11:32 AM
Thanks! I enjoy and have made music in several genres, but the majority is electronic stuff. This includes Drum&Bass and Dubstep. What kind of music do you like? How many teapots have you collected? :)
