Griffith and Guts have such a great rivalry, especially considering how interesting both their characters are separately. I'd definitely recommend the series.
I haven't read too much from Ito Junji, but Uzumaki was certainly good, the art is incredible. I've heard Ito's personality is sweet and bubbly, which is ironic when you see the horrific stuff he thinks of.
I'm sure the Blame adaptation is awful, not planning to watch that one LOL. I haven't read any of Naoki Urasawa's works, they are on the long list of things I need to read o_o
