it was a very good show when it comes to entertainment aspects, nothing more. The fanservice was a bit problematic sometimes and the story is inconclusive at this point. P.S. I watched more than 35 anime shows that are for me better than NGNL

OK you are right for the whole explanation. For example, I cant comprehend the main point of Lain in which the internet can literally change reality. We know the internet how it works. What I am tryng to say is, I can not imagine such a thing to ever happen. Maybe that is my main problem with Lain, because in the show it happens constantly. Psycho Pass has not that problem, because the setting is a futuristic society and theoretically those things from the show can happen in the real world in the next years. You are right about GITS too, it is more about stopping the criminals in a futuristic setting. P.S. I didnt gave a thought about the ascension of the individual in all those shows.

Yeah was a very good movie and I finally understood the theme of the series. It is not about destroying the sybil system, its about improving that fucked up system XD

I dont compare anime with another, I give a score based on performance alone. Lain has a good story but it is told in a very convoluted and very boring way. P.S. Lain and Psycho Pass are not comparable, but you can compare Lain with Texnolyze and Psycho Pass with Ghost in the Shell.
