Barry Manilow, born Barry Alan Pincus; June 17, 1943, is an American singer-songwriter and producer. He is best known for such recordings as "Mandy", "Can't Smile Without You", and "Copacabana (At the Copa)". He came to MAL, despite having never seen a single anime in his lifetime, to get away from his busy life as a musician. He occasionally likes to remind people who he is by making subtle references to his career in his posts, but despite that, he's very modest and down to earth, and accepts that nobody on MAL listens to his music or knows who he is.
His personality is quite chaotic, often switching between childish and lighthearted, and rather serious and mature. But would you expect any less diversity from The Manilow? Regardless of his demeanor, he always manages to maintain an air of charm, charisma, and good humor in all of his posts. However, this inconsistent personality has led a few members to believe he may be an older member's alt account, and perhaps even that he's not Barry Manilow at all. Which is of course, all lies and slander. Nothing more.
