fma brooderhood is better than fma becuase it has the original manga ending. shinsekai yori has a definite ending, but its not for everyone. it has a really slow start and many people drop it at ep 8 because it has a yuri and yaoi scene there. And i rly like re:zero so far ^^ I like the concept of time travle :D I am also rly looking forward to steins gate 0

Well I am not a shounen fan, but bleach is the 1 shounen i hate most XD, because every 2nd season is a filler season and for other reasons :P,
but there are 2 shounens which are masterpieces in my opinion
hunter x hunter 2011 (because it is darker themed, well looks childish for 4 eps, but later it gets darker and darker and there is not this thing about with friendship we beat the enemies XD also killua is 1 of the most awesome mcs ever ^^ .. also the superpower system is great

Ok, I see you are watching Gintama, so I have a question for you; is it always episodic or does a overarching plot or some type of arc develop? I really love Shounen anime, but the futuristic setting is kinda off putting for me. I only watched 2 episodes before putting it on hold, but I'm hesitant to pick it up again :/
