Been in and around the anime world since 2005/06, done podcast stuffs, interviewed Shouji Gatou, occasional stream where I do variety gaming or speedruns, then dabble with the odd review of a series or film I enjoy. Quite the mixed bag I am but it's where I am now. I often end up being picky about the shows I watch now, looking for something that doesn't feel generic like we can often see nowaways (look, I enjoy a good Isekai like the next person, but we don't need a million of them each season)

To finally see Full Metal Panic again after so long is amazing. I was literally still expecting it to be the most elaborate of april fools with gatoh appearing on screen saying "sorry, we trolled" for 25 minutes. But we got Continuing on my Own animated! I'm so happy with it right now.
Just give me Dancing Very Merry Christmas damnit >_<

I've only started getting into Gundam, since they are releasing titles like Gundam Unicorn which are easily, palatable, movie/ova chunks. So I enjoyed the unique style of Thunderbolt, as it just finished recently. Looking forward to checking out The Origin movies as well, since I don't know much of that story.

BTW... This trailer for the new Berserk anime just came out. Looks like they are sticking with the CGI of the movie trilogy.

Can't really get excited over a game I will never play. :(

You're not the 1st one to give me a similar response about the end of God Only Knows and why it made sense for him to pick Chihiro. Guess I missed those obvious hints :P

Also the rushed nature of the last couple chapters was probably due to the mangaka's poor health.

Well onto more harem manga. I've been burning through a lot of the ones that recently finished. "Umi no Misaki" might be worth checking out, if you want to see a more romantic take on the genre. "Rosario + Vampire" if you want more action.

Finally finished The World Only God Knows, after all these years of reading it. I had a bit of a rushed, yet beautiful ending. What did you think of him choosing Chihiro at the end?

For one I liked that he even picked a girl, because a lot of these kind of harems go for the "harem ending" or they pick the obvious candidate.
