I'm glad that I was an anime fan in in 2019,since it was a monster year for anime with Mob psycho 100 showcasing best fights all year along with a bit of character development and philosophy which I didn't expect since it was written by same guy who wrote one punch man which was a pure action show. Jojo's bizzare adventure animated my third favorite arc with the 7 page 'mudq muda' which can make any manga reader proud. After that came Vinland saga with its well written adaptation of warrior Thorffin karlsefeni's life from a killer to the person who saved the lives of millions of people. Promised neve land gave us a well-deserved psychological post-acolyptic thriller. And Dr. Stone made us think of nature in a positive way along with demon slayer which blew the community away with a single episode having the most expensive animation in a TV series along with fate/zero. But my personal favorite show Attack on titan looked at demon slayer and thought get on my level by blowing the community away with every single episode and shocking us with wit the basement reveal, I love how it improves with every season.. I have no idea how I managed to study while keeping up with these shows....

Back in the day, most people would be shunned for watching anime. 2020 was kinda dry with only Re:zero, Great Pretender,Fruits Basket and Kaguya being great shows. Well, I heard the last season of Attack on titan is airing on December 7. I do wish it had a lot of competition to get anime of the year by competing with a lot of shows. A lot of Mappa's stuff starts out good but it can go down in quality in the2nd half,hope they can focus on it and live up to the hype.

You don't have to worry about forgetting the plot of Legend of Korra since not much people remember it. A lot of people loved Avatar:The last airbender more anyways considering it was a Nickolodean classic. I watched the death note live action only because it was hyped up as time-changing more psychological film than the anime. But thank god the anime community and twitter exists so people can't feel like they wasted their time which they could've spent on anything else. That was the first movie that 15 minutes in I wished someone would write my name in the death note so I could end my misery. So,props to the director for that!
And BTW,Have you watched you watched the ghost stories dub, I recently watched it while trying my hardest to make sense of what's going on. It's only when I researched about it that I understood the context.I have linked them below. Enjoy🤣🤣
Same. Some series like Legend of Korra had its plot almost ruined due to the unnecessary love triangle which just felt shoe horned in. And can't forget the worst live action which destroyed the name of a great series. When they made Misa more smarter than Light and made Light's ambition in life to get with Misa, the orginal Light would never🙄🙄. His sgirly scram still cracks me up and they even put "power of love" in the credits. I hope the director at least remembered that he was directing a death note and not the Notebook.
But, yona of the dawn is cool, it's actually a historical tale of a queen taking back her empire and in Fruits basket, only one person likes her, others just show a brotherly affection and Nana is an old school classic about music. So I don't know if those can be categorized as a reverse harem
A lot of people describe it as a masterpiece which cannot be read twice. The characters feel surprisingly human and I think that the author drew Punpun as a bird to covey that he is a bird without wings who cannot fly, no matter how much he desperately wishes too. I'm currently in Punpun's uncle's arc where the series takes a dark turn. Again, i will take your word for it.Since not a lot of people have read it.

I am a fan of Hajime Isayama's storytelling and character structure too and having Hiroyuki Sawano's works is a bonus I wouldn't miss for the world. Anime is special too me too, but I tend too put stuff on hold for no reason than to watch it when I'm in a special mood. You know what mood I'm talking about. It's fun to do stuff you like and I admire that:)
And I see you have read Goodnight Punpun, how is it? I have just read only like 6 volumes of it but a lot of people say it is a depressing read and it was difficult to finish which not gonna lie kinda worries me a bit and your scoring system is similar to mine.
