Anime List Manga List

Hello everyone I am 1sttimer and a fan of anime/manga. I also enjoy creative writing and astrology. I like anime because it unrealistic and over the top, which makes it very entertaining. Whenever I do read manga (which isn't often), it's under certain conditions: new, interesting, and short (unless I really like it). The manga genres I gravitate to are Yoai and school-life. I believe my favorite mangas Black Bird and After School Nightmare (Houkago Hokenshitsu) will make great anime series. I have an open mind about genres on anime and manga.

Why Do I dropped certain anime series? (Just in case you were wondering)

[*]I dislike it (examples: getbackers, kurokami, gravitation)
[*] Just plain stupid (examples: pani poni dash!, lucky ☆ star)
[*] It's too long {too many epsoides and/or multiple seasons} (examples: Naruto, Maria-sama ga Miteru, clannad)
[*] Repetitive story-lines (examples: Kiddy Grade)
[*] It's not english dub (examples: Shigofumi, W~wish) I watch some anime in subtitles. I still prefer english dub over subtitled for better understanding and enjoyment. I watch anime in english subtitles if it's the only version available. [/list]

Amazing! when is it going to release?

Poor characterization on the most basic level is that your characters are the same in the last episode as they were in the first episode - behaviorally. In Clannad, it was the same thing. Not a single damn character developed apart from Okazaki but his development came a little too late. I'm not mocking the cheesy tune - well yes I am - but there's a limit to how cheesy an anime should be but this one was cheesy to the extent where it was cringeworthy.

Answer to the 1st question: ummm right now, I think Attack on Titan deserves a second season. Why - because it gave the chills.

Answer no 2 : Poor characters. Most definitely. Plot doesn't need to be "out of the world". If the characters are good and well developed, even the most modest of the plots will break the records.

I don't know about that second question, experiences are subjective so that's probably the bulk of that reasoning.
