They made their debut in 2005 with the album SUPERNOVA. The band released their first five albums under the name Kishida Kyoudan before they changed their name to Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets in 2008. In 2007, female vocalist ichigo was added to the lineup.
