Aniplex has opened a teaser site of a new TV anime "Togainu no Chi". It's based on Nitro+'s Boys Love (yaoi) adult PC game released in 2005.

Synopsis:
An imaginary country "Nihon" was destroyed and divided into two by a third world war called "The 3rd Division". A few years after the war, Toshima, one of the cities in the former capital Tokyo, is occupied by a group of criminals called Vischio.
A street fight champion Akira is arrested for a false charge and forced to participate in a life-risking battle game called "Igura" held by Vischio.

Ah, I see. Then it's even better!

And that explains why the names of the PC version's voice actors were kind of weird.

Ooh, so the main characters in the anime will have the same voice actors as in the PS2 version of the game. I've only played the PC version that unfortunately has other voice actors, but I think that the PS2 voices should be awesome.

I'm sooooo looking forward to this.

Ah, and it's about time the company started funding yaoi series after getting so much money thanks to its female-friendly series (just to name a few, Kuroshitsuji, Oofuri, Gintama). This was the obvious next stage, I guess.

since when was Gintama female friendly???

from what i see in the trailer, it looks like a close adaptation of the TnC manga which means no BL.
