The official website of the 5-toubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) anime series announced on Friday that the previously announced anime project is a television special and revealed the main staff, key visual (pictured), and theme songs. The anime will screen in theaters starting July 14 for a three-week run before airing later in the Summer.

Yukihiro Miyamoto (Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica, Fate/Extra: Last Encore) is directing the special at Shaft. Keiichirou Oochi (5-toubun no Hanayome) returns to handle the series composition. Pony Canyon is distributing the special.

Nakanoke no Itsuzugo, a group composed of the five female lead cast is performing the opening theme "Gotoubun no Mirai" and the ending theme "Takaramono."

Tezuka Productions produced the first 12-episode season, which aired during Winter 2019. The second season was produced by Bibury Animation Studios and aired in Winter 2021. A sequel movie opened in Japanese theaters on May 20. Crunchyroll is streaming both seasons and the movie with subtitles and an English dub.

The anime series adapt Negi Haruba's romantic comedy manga, which serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020. Kodansha shipped the 14th and final volume in April 2020.

Kodansha USA began publishing the manga in English in June 2018. They released the 14th and final volume digitally in August 2020 and physically in July 2021.

This is a useless argument. First, because you are running it as an enthusiastic fan and a disappointed fan. Secondly, because because of the first point you endow the same things with different meanings, and therefore you do not understand each other.
What kind of response is this? You don't really need to be a fan or like Toubun at all to connect the dots on why they are doing more. It's one of the most popular harem IP of the last years and it holds well on merch alone even after the manga ending.
To understand this, you need to be able to read other people's comments carefully without taking them out of context. Not to mention understanding other people's motives, and not proceed from the logic "I think your opinion is wrong, so you're a fool."

That sounded like an insult. While I watched this anime and liked it a bit, I am far from being " an enthusiastic fan". Just stated that they continue it because it sells.

No, not an insult. Just an indication that you sound like a fan who is ready to buy any new content with a favorite franchise, so don't understand a fan who is worried that the creators are just using their favorite franchise as a cash cow after the show ends.

Sorry to hurt your feelings, but roducers adapt not things that some guy think are "better", they adapt things that are popular or are convinced to will be profitable (in case of originals).

Felling bad for shaft. For last 4-5 years they are pumping so many garbage. Why can't they make something decent just like old days ????

Next time let it be Mappa, and we'll complete the set.

Though everything aside, summer got a bit more better.

If by milking you mean adapting the whole manga then I guess not, but if you think adapting a whole manga is milking then that's pretty weird to say.

And the milking continues...... But seriously, don't anime studios have anything else to animate instead of milking endlessly this manga?

it's not milking if they're just adapting stories that S2 and movie skipped. if you don't know, there's a LOT of them

Never expected Shaft to do this.
Maybe someone told them that Futarou is quite similar to Araragi?
