'Ultraman Final' Reveals Additional Cast, Second Teaser Promo, Spring 2023 Premiere
The official website of the Ultraman anime adaptation revealed on Friday two additional cast and a second teaser promotional video for the final season. The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix in Spring 2023.M.A.O (Mao Ichimichi) (Enen no Shouboutai) and Kouji Ishii (Shiki) are joining the cast as Valkyrie and Mephisto, respectively.
Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki returns the direct the final season at Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts. Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi are also returning as music composers.
The anime series adapts Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi's action manga, which began serialization in Monthly Hero's magazine in November 2011. Hero's Inc. shipped the 18th volume on April 5.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2015 and is scheduled to release the 18th volume on April 18.
