'Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi' Reveals Additional Staff, Second Trailer

The official website of the Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi (The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye) anime movie revealed additional staff and a second trailer on Tuesday. The movie adapting Mei Hachimoku's mystery drama light novel will open in Japan on September 9.

Singer-songwriter eill (Tokyo Revengers ending) is performing the theme song "Finale" and insert song "Pre-romance." The theme song is previewed in the second trailer below.

Tomohisa Taguchi (Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World - The Animated Series) is helming and penning the movie at animation studio CLAP. Tomomi Yabuki (Tokyo Ghoul animation director) is serving as both the character designer and chief animation director. Harumi Fuuki (Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu) is composing the music.

Hachimoku originally submitted the novel at the 13th Shogakukan Light Novel Award in 2018 and won both the Gagaga Award and Jury Special Award. Shogakukan published the light novel featuring illustrations by Kukka in July 2019.

Ugh..
I think the seiyuu will be the problem this time, just like 'Hello World'. Looks like they ask new seiyuu to cast the character, their voice sounds not much promising but I hope they put more emotion for the real recording..

ive read the ln and found it pretty eh-
that said, watching the trailer was seeing like a completely different story, but in a good way
the vas sound like nothing like imagined, i expected way way younger just from the writing and the animation looks gorgeous
will defo be watching x
