Q1 2022 Anime & Manga Licenses [Update 3/18]

In this thread, you'll find a comprehensive list of anime and manga licensed in the first quarter (Jan-Mar) of 2022. Winter 2022 anime which were licensed before the quarter began will also be carried over for convenience. Please note that the anime licenses are for home video release; simulcast acquisitions for Winter 2022 can be found here. Digital releases are noted with an asterisk (*).

Sentai Filmworks acquires the ONA series Obsolete.

Manga Planet licenses a couple of cat-themed series for digital release:
Chibi Neko Donguri
Jaa Mata ne
Neko de Yokereba (full colour version)
No Nyanko No Life: Bokura no Chiiikineko Keikaku
Shinkyu Chie no Neko Mamire
(and the fourth volume of Chie Shinkyu no Nekobitashi, which they already licensed in 2020)

ShuCream have announced English localisation for some of their BL titles:

Starting with Q4 2021, Seven Seas have really stepped up their game. They're actually licensing more decent or really good things, so hopefully they keep it up.

As for Viz, it feels like they're playing it way too safe, well it's good that they're putting out Dandadan in print at least.

Sentai Filmworks acquires Kenda Master Ken, Period of the Mouseman, and Sekai ga Horobiru Mae ni Kimi ni Aitai.

Seven Seas Entertainment licenses Dinosan and Imaginary. They also got Titan for their Airship imprint.
