Seiyuu Kana Hanazawa and Kensho Ono Announce Marriage

Seiyuu Kana Hanazawa and Kensho Ono announced their marriage on their respective Twitter accounts on Wednesday.

"Hanazawa has an earnest attitude toward work, is always cheerful, and makes me happy when we're together," Ono wrote. "She possesses a lot of quality I don't, and is someone I respect."

"Ono is a person who can make life more enjoyable at all times. I tend to worry easily, and he gently encourages me," Hanazawa wrote in her message.

Hanazawa began her voice acting career in 2003 with Last Exile as Holly Mad-thane. While attending university in 2007, she came under contract at talent agency Office Osawa and began taking on primary roles. Some of her notable roles include Nadeko Sengoku in Monogatari Series, Kanade Tachibana in Angel Beats!, Anri Sonohara in Durarara!!, and Mayuri Shiina in Steins;Gate. She debuted as a singer with the Hoshizora Destination single in 2012.

Ono's first anime role was in The Animatrix original video anime series as Manabu. Some of his notable roles are Giorno Giovanna in JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze, Tetsuya Kuroko in Kuroko no Basket, Mikaela Hyakuya in Owari no Seraph, and Slaine Troyrad in Aldnoah.Zero. He is also well known for playing Harry Potter in the films' Japanese dub.
