The 16th issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine of 2020 announced on Wednesday that Nakaba Suzuki's Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) manga series will conclude in the next issue. The manga will end its seven and a half year run in the 17th issue on March 25.

Suzuki began serializing the adventure fantasy manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in October 2012. Kodansha published the 40th and latest volume (pictured) on February 17. Nanatsu no Taizai has a cumulative 33 million copies of its compiled volumes in print.

A-1 Pictures adapted the manga into a 24-episode television anime in Fall 2014, which was followed by a four-episode television special titled Nanatsu no Taizai: Seisen no Shirushi (The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War) in Summer 2016. The second television anime season, Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu (The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments), premiered in Winter 2018.

The Nanatsu no Taizai: Tenkuu no Torawarebito (The Seven Deadly Sins: Prisoners of the Sky) anime film opened in Japan in August 2018. Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin (The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods), the third season produced by Studio Deen, began airing in Fall 2019.

Netflix acquired exclusive streaming rights for the anime and released each broadcast installment after they had finished airing. Funimation licensed the anime for home video release and shipped first anime season in two Blu-ray and DVD volumes in May and June 2017.

Kodansha Comics licensed the manga in English in 2013 and published the 37th volume on March 24.

Based on the name Tristan & Lancelot, i believe they will serve arthur in the next chapter.

Well maybe you all already know, 7 Deadly Sins based on 13 knights of the round table.

I hope the ending not bad for us.

For manga readers, can you explain exactly what is wrong with the later chapters?

The final battle was horrendously dragged out by dozens of asspulls and deus ex machinas--every time we thought it was going to end, something else popped up out of nowhere to extend it.

It's so much worse than Naruto's ending.

The manga was just really poorly adapted.

Wait, you mean you don't like Kaidou flying drunk for 22 minutes?

Total off topic aside, this show has really hit a meh area for me since halfway through S2. Used to be one of my favorites. It's really a shame what has been happening.

Good riddance and this from someone who was initially a big fan of this series during it's first years.

Not really commenting on the post just asking why you think OP EPS 914-915 were a mistake lol

Damn, I heard stories but can someone enlighten me on why it's considered so bad? What happened to the story? (Anime-only here but I'm okay with spoilers)

I remember having this manga in my favourites three years ago. What a disaster... I think that's the worst shounen manga I have ever read.

I heard his next series is going to be about baseball or something? May be completely wrong but I'm totally down for it if it's true

It's been a ride, but it was about time. I honestly thought they should have ended it a bit earlier considering that the final boss was very underwhelming (at least in my opinion). Can't say I didn't cry at the latest chapters though.. Thanks for the journey, it's been a good one!

At last this anime ends. Without offending but nanatsu no taizai is one of the worst shonen that exists has been declining since its second season came out so there are no surprises with this last season.

So can someone spoil it if Diane x King and Ban x Elaine had a good ending? I'm rooting for these guys.
