(I can't really differentiate music genre..)
According to the description on MAL, the genre is "combination of electronica and metal. "

That's a shame! I had just gotten into them via hunter x hunter in the last few months and they have quickly become my most listened to band.

Why isn't the OP of HunterXHunter mentioned? It was pretty good and it's more well-known than the likes of Baki and Hakyuu Houshin Engi.
The news is talking about Kei the bassist died. The main target of the news, Kei, wasn't involved when Hunter x Hunter ED was released. Kei joined the band in 2013 while Hunter x Hunter ED was released before then. It was another bassist (Mashu), who was involved when Hunter x Hunter ED was released, and left when Kei joined.

The band performed ... together with Kei.

They literally had a song in each anime season of 2018.
Pretty sure they were really active lately.

Really ? I'm watching tons of ongoings. Weird that I haven't noticed them then. Maybe they did music for the shows I avoided =/

They did Hakyuu Houshin Engi OP1 and OP2, Baki OP2 and also Gakuen Basara ED in 2018

Rest in peace, mr bassist. Kiseijuu OP is still one of the addicting jrock head banger that I've heard.
