TV Anime 'Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari' Announces Cast and Additional Staff Members

The official website for the upcoming Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari TV anime has launched and announced cast and additional staff members. Shunichi Uemura (Shinmai Maou no Testament TV series) joins Hiromitsu Iijima (Under the Dog) to produce music.

Tbh, they all get their own development mid-story on the web novel. I haven't read the LN and only the manga scanlation and I know the WN I've read is on a different route than the LN/manga, but I think all the main chara development on the LN is gonna be more or less the same as the WN version. Agreed that Ren's the one who got the most brain though both him and Motoyasu are so adorable post their heel-face turns.

I actually kinda wonder if the events leading to Motoyasu's spin-off are gonna be the same between the WN and LN/manga, since there are so many major difference on the events already.

Using his spin-off as his so called personality is just dumb tho? You can't tell someone who doesn't know anything about it that arguably the worst hero has any kind of personality lol, I mean sure obviously there will be developement eventually and he will start using his head but like 99% of people will hate him since he is absolutely brainless for like 50% of the novel

How are the previous roles determined? I saw one earlier for a director who had actually directed something before but the previous was something like: Neon Genesis Evangelion Character Designer Ep 17. There's needs to be a better system!

the main group (/party) isn't even that big and only one girl of that group is in love with the MC. it's true that there are mostly girls around the MC but they are usually just friends. i'd have to spoil to tell you more but the story isn't about romance/love and the female characters can have their own goals that are not restricted to love

To be fair just because it has the tag multiple times it's not usually the most definite answer. Rakudai is tagged as a harem... even though that's completely negated after 3 episodes.

If there's only one that's actually interested in a romantic sense to the MC then that's not a true harem. Or a legitimate one at that if it's just one person that has romantic feelings for the guy.
