Manga 'Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san' Features Stories Produced by Anime Cast Members

This year's April issue of Gessan magazine released on Monday features a special chapter of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san in addition to the regular chapter. As a special collaboration with currently airing TV anime, the special chapters released on both April and May issues of the magazine will feature stories produced by the main two cast members. Rie Takahashi produced the chapter titled "Dodgeball," which has been released on Monday, while Yuki Kaji produced the chapter titled "E-Mail," which will be released on May issue of the magazine releasing on April 12.

Karakai no Jouzu no Takagi-san began its serialization in Gessan Mini, the supplement brochure to Gessan magazine in June 2012. The serialization has moved to Gessan in July 2016 after completion of Fudatsuki no Kyouko-chan. The series currently has eight volumes released with latest went on sale on this February. The TV anime is currently airing with the characters of Ashita wa Doyoubi spin-off manga featuring since this January.

1. Maybe the seiyuu can break the large amount of predictability this anime and manga series suffers from.

2. Those short stories need to be animated.

This is really cool. Has there ever been this sort of collaboration for other anime and manga before? The most I've ever heard of is VAs posting little sketches of their favourite characters on their twitter or something of the sort.

i just want them to moved to weekly magazine so i can get more of this because it spin-off has more frequent release, but oh well, i am grateful already from what i given...
