English Dub Cast Announced for 'Sakamoto desu ga?'

Sentai Filmworks has announced the English dub cast for Sakamoto desu ga? (Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto) via their official website on Friday. Kyle Jones will direct the dub and pen the script. The company will release a Blu-ray, DVD, and a premium box set containing all 12 episodes and the special on November 21.

Voice actors with unannounced roles include: Bryson Baugus, Orlanders Jones, Benjamin McLaughlin, Chelsea Ryan McCurdy, James Belcher, Brittney Karbowski, John Swasey, Kira Vincent-Davis, David Wald, and Maggie Flecknoe.

Sakamoto desu ga? is based on the four-volume manga drawn by Nami Sano, which ran in Fellows! magazine between August 2011 and December 2015. The anime adaptation was directed by Shinji Takamatsu (Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou) at Studio Deen and was broadcast in Spring 2016. The series was simulcast by Crunchyroll.

Sentai is so hit or miss these days, they need to do better with their comedies....

most of them are newcomers. some of them are good, some of them are meh. sentai dubs in general are meh.

well actually, sentai's dubs are finally improvidng i would say. far from being first rate but hopefully this will mark the first time they do make it there among the top-draw dubs
