Manga 'Ajin' to Bundle OVA

The official site for manga Ajin has revealed that an OVA will be bundled together with its eighth volume, to be released on May 6. The site also hints that the OVA will center around to country's first "ajin."

A film trilogy and a TV adaptation were previously announced this year. Hiroaki Ando will direct the series at Polygon Pictures (Sidonia no Kishi).

The manga is drawn by Gamon Sakurai. It began serialization in Kodansha's good! Afternoon magazine in March 2012. It is currently being published, with seven volumes released so far.

I just finished the manga. It's really nothing special if you have been reading any of the edgy mangas that came out in the last decade or so. Characterizations is meh, art is so-so. And story is... Fine. Nothing really stood out about this series, but it would probably do well commercially.

More Ajin anime, awesome. I think this will be one of the higher quality OVA too.
