According to Monthly Champion RED magazine, manga Seikon no Qwaser was announced to get a TV anime adaptation. The manga is well-known that the character replenish the power by

Seikon no Qwaser is written by Yoshino Hiroyuki (the series organizer of "Macross Frontier", "Mai-HiME") and illustrated by Satou Kenetsu.

I think a lot of you are too quick to judge, alright so its crazy ecchi but compared to all the other pointless ecchi mangas out there, this manga is seriously good also pretty educational. Strong content of science, religion and history and crazy fight scenes. I think it has potential to be a good anime! Another kind of shitty anime adaptation keep coming....i miss the animes from old times that have more quality & enjoyable to watch *Sigh*

They'll simply censor all of those scenes. I'll be waiting for the DVD/Blu-Ray releases myself, but anyone who doesn't want to watch those scenes as how they're supposed to be should just watch the TV version.

Even they censor all the said scene does't change the fact that that anime is..what is can say borderline hentai? Looks what the pattern that they(anime studio) was doing recently...censoring provocative scene in TV version but keep the uncensored version in DVD/BD release just to cash money out from the otaku/viewer who wanted to see lots of ecchi scene.They really know how to manipulate the viewer right? I afraid of future of anime will be coz more people lost faith in animes lately bcoz of this trend...

Firstly i think this is some kind of joke.....there's no way the manga that have heavy ecchi element,half-porn content & political controversies will be animated..
but guess i was wrong....it does been animated. I wonder how they show it on TV with that kind of content...it's not family friendly anime though (but good for bunch of perverts who enjoy rape & BDSM)

I'm started to read today,and I like liked a lot.But i didn't see the extremes ecchi scenes a guy here said yet,so I think the manga is normal,but I can change my opinion.That thin of the main character surname is a word for penis and the one of the author made a manga called Vita Sexualis reforce that image of ecchi,when I first heard of Vita I thought it was a Hentai.

But I Read the Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome manga and liked it,I hope the anime will be good too,and not have a diferent ending,but a cliff for a second season.

And the name is literally penis or have a double-meaning like the nickname Dick(short of Richard),ou the portuguese language surname Pinto(lit chick)that can also mean penis.And in english his name is Alexander 'She'.xD

I'd be surprised if none of the scenes are censored in the anime, and that's kind of why I'm not too excited about it. The science of the manga is really interesting, same for how the religion is represented; you learn by reading the manga. The action is nothing unique, so what also makes it stand out is how the mangaka wasn't scared to go a bit overboard with ecchi scenes. The fact the anime will only have science/religion catching my attention (which I'll already know from reading the manga, although I'd love to see even more of it) is less fun.

Chapter 5 page 26 and chapter 8 page 9. Do you really think they'll animate those? This isn't just simple ecchi like kodomo no jikan, Kanokon, or Sekirei. I'd hate to see the show get butchered like Tenjou Tenge.

The gore is pretty limited for most of the manga, so I doubt that'll be a problem.

It'll entirely depend on the studio producing the anime, I hope it'll be a good one (no names on the anime's page, so I'm only assuming nothing is known about this).

Im looking forward to this. the manga is quite good. its not just a bunch of ecchiness. sometimes entire chapters go by with nothing but fighting. I just hope they dont diverge from the plot and make it into some fan service explosion.

manga is great and interesting in it's own ways, but i only hope that anime won't be a big let down as many other recently anime's.

i'm interested how far they can go under R+ rated?
since in manga they go quite far.
