'Ikkitousen' to Continue in 2014

According to an announcement made on the official website on Saturday, the Ikkitousen franchise will be continued this year and not be brought to an end. It is unknown as of yet whether this will be in the form of a TV series or OVA(s). According to the website, the last three television series will be released on Blu-ray in the near future.

Seriously what the fuck...
The first season back in the day was great at what it was doing, the second season is the best of the series by far. The third season is watchable but you can tell that something is missing, something that made the two previous season enjoyable.

And then there was the fourth season... Oh god how awful it was. I lost all hope in the future of the franchise with Xtreme Xecutor yet I'll have to force myself to watch the new seasons because it doesn't sit well with me to drop a series after going through four seasons.

Hopefully they'll manage to do something watchable with this one.

Oh good I can't wait for this. The series is utter crap in almost every area accept for the character art and designs. Even that crawled its way to awesome. I still love it as one of my favorites of all time though.

In the long run it is one of the ecchi legends form the last decade. the figure sells are through the roof too. It has been some time since I checked that fact, but at one time it was beat only by the figure sells of Evangelion.
