Manga 'Ao Haru Ride' to Get Live Action Movie Adaptation

The April issue of Bessatsu Margaret announced that the manga Ao Haru Ride, which was previously announced to receive an anime adaptation, will receive a live action movie as well. It will premiere on December 2014.

The issue also revealed more information about the upcoming anime, including that it will be broadcasted in Summer 2014.

I'll probably give the anime a try only since I'm not a big fan of live action movies. I haven't read AHR though but I heard from a few friends that it's good!

I'm not a fan of Live Action Movies,
but I will make exception for AHR,
just like I made for Sailor Moon, Kimi ni Todoke
and some series simillar to Ouran High School Host Club xD

I have hope AHR will be as good as KnT.

I thought the Kimi ni Todoke live action wasn't that bad. Maybe Ao Haru will be better. The manga is dope though, and I hope the animu will be gud.

I AGREE WITH THIS SO MUCH! Ugh. -_- Which is why I resent the fact that most shoujo manga are being made into live action...

At least the staff working on the script have some school-romance experience, so it couldn't be that bad.

Live-action is unnecessary but I guess popular shoujo end up to have them.
