New Sengoku Basara TV Anime Green-Lit

At the Sengoku Basara 4: Basara Festival 2014 ~Feast of New Year~ event today, a new anime based on the Sengoku Basara series was announced to be green-lit. The announcement was made by Kobayashi Hiroyuki, a game developer with Capcom (which owns the franchise), tasked with supervising anime production. No other details were revealed about the anime.

This is the third TV anime in the Sengoku Basara series with Sengoku Basara and Sengoku Basara Two having been released in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

The Sengoku Basara franchise includes a video game series, the aforementioned TV anime, and animated films. The latest game in the franchise, Sengoku Basara 4, is to be released on January 23, 2014 for the PlayStation 3 console.

Yeah, that's true, but look at this one in particular. He has the same outfit, white hair and exactly the same sword Dante uses in DMC 1. In the upcoming series he may be using the same fighting moves! That's why I am so upset.

I got both seasons + movie on my shelf, but i havent watched them yet. Guess this is as good a time as any!

With all the "older" series getting sequels these days (Mushishi, Black Butler, Sengeku Basara, Haruhi) why not throw Spice and Wolf and FMP, perhaps Bacanno into the mix???
