Yes, truly I, a bisexual man and a complete yaoi fanboy, am homophobic. I'm obviously homophobic when I watched Free! last season for the hot dudes, shipped KiritoxKlein in SAO (only good thing in that shit show), and spend most of my time looking for gay subtext between dudes in anime. My favorite eroartist, NemuNemu, makes mostly yaoi doujin.

Yes, that makes utter and complete sense.

I don't like yuri. That does not make me homophobic. I just don't like watching it, reading it, or talking about it. If you wanna interest me with a pairing there better be a dick in there somewhere, preferably two, thank you.
In this case you sound like a double-standard hypocrite, which is no much better than a homophobic. If you are truly into yaoi and know that the genre suffers from a lot of bashing even for an anime like Free which only has yaoi subtext and gets called as a gay anime? I am a yuri fan and I don't like yaoi, but does it mean I have to go to trash anime that I see as crossing the threshold of how much yaoi I could bear?? Because I fully know and understand that the level I can bear could be quite different from what the targeted audience want or can bear, I do not see such a need to bash an anime for showing too much yaoi. Calling your intolerant action as making utter and complete sense is just pure nonsense. And SHAME ON YOU !!

Oh, look.. the same guy in Mahouka Forum. Now he making a ruckus here too? Well, one does not simply fuck around with symbv. So, I think I'm gonna enjoy looking at this forum and where this is going for some time.

Sorry sorry my bad.

Not homophobic .Just plain Lesbophobic.

You are free to say whatever you want as long as it has some basis. When you trash talk a series for half a scene then yeah you will have that kind of replies.

Except most mahou shoujou are smart enough to merely have subtext (which half the time was fictioned up completely by fanboys), this show was two feet away from straight-up scissoring at times.

And seeing it descend into yurishit when it was such an amazing fighting series before really annoys me.

So because of two yuri scenes that arent that different from Madoka or Nanoha you call this shit.

THe show had enough magic to ignore the yuri. That you are homophobic doesnt make this bad.

>homophobic

I am not saying that it is bad.I am just saying it isnt at a "OMG SUGOI" level of prefection.(unless if the viewer is a Type-Lunatic)
I never think you are saying it is bad. What I sensed is that you are saying it will be more SUGOI in the sequels, and my response is that even though the story is not that much (in your words), I think there are enough merits in this first season to call it a winner.

^ Well, won't comment on the story because the first season is a standard tale of the main character finding her place and friendship after gaining power she does not want - although despite the strong tone of loli and yuri I also see its approach to be even more shounen than a lot of the standard fare shounen stuff. Mixed with the mahou shoujo elements with strong dose of loli, yuri and offbeat humor (mainly from the wands and their original owners lol), spiced with great animation here and there and a beautiful soundtrack (I lost count of how many times I listened to the soaring and spirit-rising OP), I think even without the sequels this anime on its own is a winner.

Two people coming here and commenting about their despair at not having their "quality anime" produced doesnt make everyone else less excited.
Well, more like their prejudice of what constitutes "quality anime" because I find F/K Illaya has pretty good quality. ;-)

Well story wise the first season alone isnt much.Combined with the sequels yes, it is a very good mahou shoujo anime.

You shouldn't. There's nothing wrong with eagerly anticipating more of Illya x Miyu.

That and I used to have a list on my old account, but then I moved to this one and goddamn there is no way I'm filling that shit out AGAIN.

I love how you think I'm a troll solely because I don't like what you like.

Even if there was no yuri in the first season, you'd drop this season around episode 4ish or 8ish, most likely 8ish, since it does cross those lines

you haven't even seen all of it and there's only 1 scene in the entire series that you might even consider calling yuri.

Also, unless my MAL is fucked, your account does not have a list, yet has 20 forum posts. What purpose would it serve other than to troll?
