It's pretty epic.
This is such a great spin-off series too.

Looks epic. What's better then the child of pure badassery as a magical school girl!

Pretty sure anime ended with Queens Blade season 3 and Quaser Season 2.

Anime "ends" every time overly serious fans see a show they don't like and decide it's time to run around proclaim creativity is dead.

And every time, the rest of us laugh at those people and continue on having fun watching good shows.

@jmal i need to screenshot that line you said & post it on every social site im on. thats how much i agree with you.

Do we have TV or not confirmed yet? Usually quoting a season does mean TV, but not always.

I don't mind fan service, and "cartoony look", but I still want cool characters and a proper story.

Looks can be deceiving anyway (see: Gunslinger Girl). However, I hope it's not just dumb, and cute for the sake of cute.

There are many possible side stories to go from the Fate Universe. I hope it's not too much based on teh visual novel too so that we can enjoy the anime for what it is.

Lord, why? Stupid spinoffs of shows that are meant to be somewhat serious are stupid.

So you're quite the expert, aren't you?

Here's an expert suggestion for you: Don't watch it. Also, don't post if you have nothing to say.

On topic, I must say, that Silver Link is an interesting choice. This is the first time I actually know the source material of a Silver Link show, but I'm positive they can get stuff done properly.

It pleases me that Illya is having her own anime despite not being one of the main heroine. I guess it's because she's more popular and well liked than Sakura (because of her, HF will never have an adaption, ever).

Type-Moon has confirmed that the anime based off the immensely popular magical girl comedy doujin spin-off of their Fate series, Fate/Prisma Illya, will debut in 2013 – and production shall be done by Silver Link.

Silver Link has been on an upward trend – improving in story, number of titles released on an annual basis, and just about everything, with this also marking yet another grand achievement for them. They’ve managed to secure a title from the Fate series – and one which is going to be very unique as well. They’re definitely capable of some fantastic and fitting artwork – and they’ve proven themselves able of a functioning story with Tasogare Otome, thus one can be sure that this will certainly be an unconventionally enjoyable mahou shoujo experience.

Additionally, Silver Link has worked in some relevant fields when they’ve created “Baka to Test” – meaning they already have quite a grasp of the comedic genre, and a more loose atmosphere, nor to mention the endless list of production assistance they’ve provided other studios with.

However, it’s worth pondering over the visuals – Silver Link is capable of artistry on par with the term “perfect”. They’ve shown themselves apt at creatively employing a multitude of art styles to deliver a single scene, with each and every individual frame being an astounding work of art in itself – and of such a master level of impeccable visual transcendence as well. And that being the case, one must question what it is which Silver Link will deliver with this upcoming mahou shoujo spin on the Fate series.

The year 2013 isn’t too far off, despite the many months away – yet hopefully this launches early in the new year, and with all the months till then having been well-spent on ensuring success. To add, I am quite certain this will be the first of the $$$ needed towards HF adaptation.

What's that on the magazine on the bottom right? I think I see Prisma Illya / Nanoha ViVid crossover. Do you see it too?

And yeah, great news. I've been following this manga for a while, and it's awesome and funny.
