I don't care that the quality is average cause I'm getting it for free and legally in the end thats all that matters to me. Plus its supporting the industry into getting more legal anime. ^_^ Besides its better than some fansubs I saw where it was all pixelated and stuff. >_>

fate/zero is definitely the best anime for fall 2011 hands down! october has lots of good stuff coming in..hyped!!

Hands up

WTF? It's only in it's first episode even though it's so hyped. But anyways, there are some reasonable competitions. Autumn 2011 indeed is one if the best seasons I've seen.

As an ultimate graphic whore, I will be waiting for 720p version with high quality audio & video.
I wish my beloved petite Sakura would be present too.

Yup, it's out.

Dude, how do you know? Its not even out yet. I just hope all the hype doesn't backlash. People who goes in hyped tend to be 10 times more likely to be dissapointed. People who goes in wanting to hate it is 10 billion times more likely to hate it if others are hyped about it.

Considering what I heard about the novel though, I probably won't be dissapointed as long as there is enough episodes to remain faithful and there is awesome music. The Fate VN would not had been nearly as epic w/o the stupendously awesome musical accompaniment.

Wow, the hype for this show skyrocketed.

Hope they preserve the quality on a stream...

The Derp one is a downscaled 720p TV rip.

I know its hard to believe... but some people have standards. We won't just accept shit because they give it to us for free.
When I watch 360p, it never looked that shitty. Must have been captured from FUNI's/Youtube player then uploaded on some streaming site. Or its 240p, which is awful. Because I don't remember Dantalian no Shoka looking like shit on Nico Nico. I honestly wouldn't watch it if it did.

Do these screen shots really look THAT bad?
Youtube 360p: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f183/TeenChibi/youtubescreen360p.png
NicoNico 360p: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f183/TeenChibi/niconicoscreen360p.png

Definitely not as crisp as 720p, but not "shit quality" in my opinion. I still believe that 360p is perfectly serviceable. I don't know whats the issue here.

I was completely fine with Blood-C and Dantalian no Shoka on Nico Nico. The quality beats usual illegal streaming quality. I can wait to see a series in the best quality once the BD/DVD's releases when I can re-watch it with all of the animation corrections in true HD on my PS3/HDTV. Not all of our computers can handle 720p or have the room on our computers for episode downloads. Hopefully they'll implement HD later, but for now, I don't mind. Its free, legal, and awesome! Can't wait to watch it. Thanks Aniplex.

1. 400-500 megs isn't that much. Complaining about download sizes is silly, especially since the streaming data goes to your cache on your hard drive anyway.
2. If your computer can't handle 720p in this day and age, you need a new computer.
3. It may be free and legal, but it certainly isn't awesome! I couldn't imagine watching a movie like Avatar on a small 360p stream, so why do so with an anime with movie quality animation and art?

I do it all of the time. Sorry, but definition is not that important to me... Until the home video release. Like I said I can wait for the best quality on BD/DVD, the TV broadcast will have animation mistakes and is not a crisp, clear, clean, or smooth as the BD/DVD.

Will you buy me a new computer? Not everyone can magically buy one when they please. Plus, I'm working on it. :P

360p looks just fine to me.

I also hope the translator in charge of it is knowledgeable of Type Moon terms since it would be annoying to see "magus" as "wizard" among other things.

This. Magus and wizard isn't that bad considering how i've seen some subs butcher noble phantasm into treasure and reality marble into fixed barrier.

360p... It's like they actually want us to fansub it or something.

I used NicoNico for Blood-C this season.

The quality is quite low, even for 360p. The subs were wrong in places. And the video player took 15-20 minutes to buffer fully.

Don't know if want.

the quality was far better than what i normaley get >.> and they come out realy fast...

15-20? i had to wait over a half an hour for each ep >.>

but still thats how im gonna watch thie

I am ready for high quality anime in 360p.

Haha yeah 360p, hell no. I will watch this show, but it won't be in less than 720p, I can damn well assure you of that. Nico, call me when you realize it's 2011.

The one good thing that comes out of this is that someone can just rip the subs from it and put it onto a 720p feed, so it may cause the real version to come out faster than if someone had to sub it from scratch. Other then that, its quite useless. You'd lose so much of the impact of the beautiful art and animation if you watched it in such a low resolution
