I need some helping adding this to MAL ^^

Should i count it as One Piece 492 and Toriko 1? It's a "double episode" oneshot after all.

It looks like it's set to be released the same day Toriko starts, and in Wikipedia it says that the crossover is actually episode 492 of One Piece... so then? are they gonna do a double dose of Toriko this Sunday?

I will be really disappointed if the Buu saga won't be included in DB Kai :/

Actually, Toriyama wanted to end Dragonball after the Namek Saga, leaving the mystery of whether Goku was dead or not after the battle with Frieza and ending it like that without introducing Mecha-Frieza, Trunks, or any of the androids or anything after that.

He was convinced to keep DB running because of it's popularity and added two more Sagas, the Cell and Buu Sagas, to the original run of the manga and ended it there.

The fact that Cell is in Kai and Buu isn't suggests to me that perhaps Toriyama was pleased with the Cell Saga, but not quite as happy with the Buu Saga and regretted it afterwards, deciding that the Cell Saga was a better ending (which it was) and decided to reflect that in Kai.
Either that or they just aren't continuing Kai past 100 episodes to keep it to a nice number.

from what ive been told buu wasnt originally in the manga but was added after it aired in the original anime. and since kai is try to stick to the original manga that would be why its not gonna be there. i dont know how true that is anyone care to confirm.

And from what I know you haven't got a clue what you're talking about.
The Buu saga is part of the original manga run.

But was not intended.
He was convinved to keep it going because it was so popular.

Akira Toriyama wanted to end it after the Cel Saga. The whole Goku dieing thing, passing the torch onto another.
