Arakawa Hiromu To Start a New Manga 'Silver Spoon' [Update Mar 26]

Weekly Shonen Sunday has announced the details of Arakawa's new manga.

The title is "Gin no Saji ~Silver Spoon~" and it's about a school life at an agricultural high school in Hokkaido.

According to Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, Arakawa Hiromu will start a new manga series from the volume 19 to be released on April 6th. Details of the manga will be announced later.

Sunday's other new line-ups
Mitsuda Takuya's new boxing manga was also announced to start on March 16th.

New pokemon manga "Pocket Monster RéBURST" will start on March 9th.

FMA is easily one of my favorite series of all time, so I am REALLY looking forward to her new work! I hope it's a classic as well!

arakawa the under the bridge whatever garbage is created by a man and its title is in no way connected to Arakawa (person, female)

FMA is created by a woman named Arakawa and is in no way connected to (one of countless) not-funny attempts at creating a comedy by the same guy. :)


Actually, Arakawa Under the Bridge is written by a woman.

Good news indeed.

I'm not the biggest fan of FMA but I see it one of the best, if not the best, shounen manga out there. Definitely better than the majority of dull shounen manga today anyway.

She is credited as doing one of those end-of-episode illustrations for Bridge X Bridge, though.
