Synopsis

Aki Sora revolves around Aki Aoi and Sora Aoi, a pair of close siblings who have shared an intimate bond since childhood. During their coming of age, they each come to realize the true depth of the love they feel for each other and consummate that love in secret. They keep their younger sister, Nami, Sora’s twin in the dark about their new relationship. Nami, clueless of what is happening in her household aims to set her brother up with her best friend, Kana Sumiya. Despite these relationships Nami seems to have feelings for someone near to her too but keeps them secret.

Aki Sora is a story of love between two siblings. So you already know there's incest in this manga, and if that bothers you, refrain from reading this. There are also other themes like exhibitionism, netorare, yuri and crossdressing, so it's not recommended for sensitive people who get easily offended.

Spoilers ahead.

The story starts with the siblings Aki and Sora's relationship being presented. Their love is so pure and candid that it's easy for the reader to fall in love and support them together, even though they are brother and sister. Sora is a meek, naive and levelheaded guy who does most of the household chores, ... he is very feminine, considering his appearance, mentality and role in the house. Aki is Sora's oneesan who is beautiful, smart and good at sports, a perfect girl all around, but slovenly when she is at home, and she is the one who usually teases Sora. Both characters are likeable and their relationship is beautiful. It's cute how they rely on each other, Aki being the most dominant, taking the lead every time Sora is confused, and Sora taking care of his sloppy big sister. Throughout the story, it's clear they are the only characters who understand each other, since they can't reveal their relationship to anyone else.

After the first segment focusing on Aki and Sora, the story introduces many female characters, turning it into a harem, and in most cases it's not that the girl has romantic feelings towards Sora, but instead just wants to have intercourse with him for one reason or another. This harem actually strengthens the feeling that Aki and Sora should stay together, since Sora is always uncomfortable with the other girls, and usually tries to reject them, Aki being the only one who really moves him. One of the girls in the harem is Nami, Sora's twin sister. She is a tsundere and sloppy, just like Aki to a less extent, so she also relies on Sora at home. She is a really funny character, always getting angry at Sora's timidity and being suspicious of him and Aki. The reason she is in the harem is not because she has romantic feelings towards Sora, but instead, she is envious of him for being a boy, since she is in love with a girl, and that girl is in love with Sora. It's at this point that the story starts to get deeper than you would expect from a borderline hentai about incest, Nami's plot is well written and thought provoking, making you care for the character and get emotional over her drama. Sumiya Kana is the girl whom Nami loves. She is a kind, modest and pure girl, a typical Yamato Nadeshiko. I think her role in the story is usually to contrast with the twisted minds of the three main characters, since she is just a pure girl who loves Sora, but she also shows that she is capable of breaking this image if it is for being with Sora through the story. Next one is Satsuki Runa, the exhibitionist, an outgoing and licentious girl who doesn't seem to be afraid of anything. She feels kind of out of place in the manga and doesn't have a deep plot, but some of her scenes with Sora are one of the hottest, especially since she likes to dress him as a girl. The last one in Sora's harem is Himekawa Alice, the student council president. She is just there for comical relief pretty much and doesn't add much to the story, but the chapters with her can be good if you are into netorare, and her interactions with her boyfriend are pretty funny.

Therefore, there are a lot of girls interested in Sora, which is funny considering he is such a girly character, but it makes for cute relationships with the girls, resembling yuri relations sometimes, which is pretty refreshing for a harem. There is a lot of sexual intercourse scenes in the manga, chapter after chapter, to the point it gets tiring. Even though this is an erotica, I thought it was too much and a negative point, but it was good to give the characters depth, since each of the girls react differently when they are doing it, which is an interesting point to pay attention to. The art is great, the characters are attractive, especially Aki who I fell in love with on each page, and the author's drawings are distinctive, I have also checked his other mangas and their characters always remind me of Aki Sora. But what really caught my attention about the art was the sceneries, there were so many beautiful panels, you could see the author put in the effort in this regard, and it was great to build the feelings for the manga.

I greatly enjoyed this manga and recommend it to anyone who doesn't get offended by its themes, has an open mind and wants a good and unconventional erotic story, and of course for those who are fans of incest stories as well.

It's about a kid who loves his older sister to the point where they enter a forbidden relationship with her, but for some reasons, there are other girls who almost use him for his penis. Which totally feels out of place when it comes to the manga.

It's an old-style art from 2008. It's neither good nor bad. It's decent.
