In episode 24, after the scene where the characters all talk about their past by the fire, Fuu later wakes up and is standing by the river. Jin approaches her and talks with her. I couldn't exactly make out from the subtitles of what Fuu and Jin said to each other.

Did Jin confess his love for Fuu and did she reject him because I heard her saying Mugen? what do you think?

yeah, i was also thinking what's that all about.., but i think that Fuu doesn't want Jin and Mugen to fight each other that's why she cried there ,, IMO,,

BTW. nice anime... same to Cowboy Bebop

No, Jin didn't confess.
He was just asking Fuu the reason why she's crying. Jin also asked Fuu what will she do after she finds the "Sunflower Samurai"

Fuu said that she never thought about it yet. She became sad because she knows that after their journey, the three of them will be separated. She gave Jin a hug because of that.

I always thought that something would happen between Jin and Fuu. Looks like nothings gonna happen now. Oh well.

I think the creators made it ambiguous on purpose to leave it to our imaginations. As much as I wish that scene had romantic implications (I shamelessly support Jin x Fuu!), I don't believe it did. I think the most logical explanation for that exchange on the river is that Jin was implying that he accompany her after she found the Sunflower Samurai. Fuu interrupted him and said she didn't want think that far ahead yet and talking about their inevitable separation now would make Mugen sad. *shrugs* It's all conjecture, but I pretty much agree with what Moonfrost said.

Y'all mad asf. I'll just cut to the chase. Jin wasn't confessing to Fuu. None of them- either Jin or Mugen ever saw Fuu as a romantic interest. Jin was asking Fuu if he could commit suicide after she reaches her destination safely. Now it makes sense why Mugen would be angry as he wanted to be the one to kill Jin. As for why Jin wanted to die is because he wanted to free himself of all the tormenting and the never ending fleet of people coming after him for his supposed hand in killing his master. I'm on the 24th ep and am writing this rn. This is not my rewatch.
